Yea but Ryans needs a solid player beside him and Greenwood and whoever else is starting isn't getting it done.
Cushing is NFL ready.
The other choice was a DE to draw pressure away from Mario but I went towards Cushing because he was better then any DE left

Diles was tearing it up but he broke his leg like in week 5. Ryans and Diles themselves are beast, and Greenwood isn't bad. Still think the DE from FSU i think is the best pick for them.

Jeremy Maclin won't drop down that far. And if Maclin still on the board. Why would the Bears take Heyward-Bey? That makes no sence.

I took Heyward-Bey off the board, changed Maclin to Chicago and changed the Vikes pick to Duke Robinson

very solid mock draft... these 5 picks i would sincerly consider revising... michael johnson is no longer a first round pick and definatly not a top 15... Laurinaitis is not ever going to be picked by a 3-4 team... Marks is a bit a of a stretch probably more of a mid second rounder... nicks probably more likly to go in the 3 round... William Beatty was high suggested by Mike mayock so teams should prolly avoid him lol jk hes a great talent but not a 1st round pick

I think I will keep Marks where he is because of the Colts pressing need for a DT.
I chose Nicks over Kenny Britt because the G-Men need a WR becuz Toomer will leave in free agency and it is doubtful Plax will be back. I may stick with Nicks because he has better intangibles.

The Beatty pick was between him and Troy Kopag and he is the beter prospect so I chose him because of the Steelers obvoius need for O line help.
I'll fix the J-Lau pick and I'm still 50-50 on changing Mike Johnson, we'll see

I really don't think Oher will go before Jason Smith. Also the Eagles selecting two Tackles in round 1. I also think the Bears will select either a DE or CB. In 2007 their pass defense was ranked 27th. In 2008 it was ranked 30th. Obviously the pass defense has issues and getting a WR won't do much for the Bears. Their fine at WR.

the DT pick for the colts makes a lot of sense... marks im not so sure is the best on the board at that point though because Hood from missouri is still there and hes looking like a solid player

i understand the pick but thing is i doubt nicks will ever be picked before harvin... and did you even consider a guy like derrick williams or brandon lafell whom are both better prospects...

If your thinking about keeping mike johnson at 11... consider Calais Campbell from last year... a big DE who was seen as a top 5 pick much like johnson..that had an unreal junior campaign and a lackluster senior campaign which he found himself in the 2nd round... there situations are very similar...

and i really like how a QB doesnt go until 10th very good

but yeah not to rag on you too much very solid picks otherwise

Yea remember this is only Mock Draft 1, if Evander Hood keeps climbing he could play his way into that spot but for right now Marks is the man,

I took Johnson off entirely, replaced him with Pettigrew

For the QB thing: Stafford will need a year or so to mature and in San Fran Shaun Hill can play next year whilst Stafford can watch. The other 1st round caliber QB Mark Sanchez goes to the Lions where he will prob play but won't have 1st overall pressure on him plus he'll have a solid guy blocking him in Andre Smith

there are tons of quality corners the Bears can grap in later rounds.
They need a playmaker on offense to take some heat off Forte.

I might decide to change Smith over Oher but i doubt it, Oher just has better intangibles
and who do the Bears have on receiver that is a solid 70 catch/1000 yard/10 touchdown guy or one of the three?
dont say brandon Lloyd because he his too unreliable to be numero uno

B.J will go before the 20th pick. I think the Jags might pick him. Losing Stroud really hurt their Run D last year. I could be wrong tho.

I think I've said it before in another mock draft thread but Hakeem Nicks to the Giants would be great, but unless he has an amazing combine he is more of a 2nd or 3rd rounder.
