I think I've said it before in another mock draft thread but Hakeem Nicks to the Giants would be great, but unless he has an amazing combine he is more of a 2nd or 3rd rounder.

yea i decided on Darius Heyward-Bey for now but Kenny Britt and Nicks should all be in the running for that spot

B.J will go before the 20th pick. I think the Jags might pick him. Losing Stroud really hurt their Run D last year. I could be wrong tho.

I'm almost positive the Broncos would take Raji. They don't need a RB, they have Tatum Bell, Ryan Torain, Peyton Hillis, and Selvin Young, no need to throw another RB into that mix. There defense was horrid last year and it starts up front. Raji would be the pick for them at that spot.

Tatum bell is not that good and past his prime, torain is bad and has done nothing, peyton hillis played a couple good games, and selvin young had a couple good games last year and decent 2007 under the shanahan system. None of these RBs are really that good and when you draft a RB round 1, you draft him to be the franchise RB. The Broncos will be changing to a 3-4 so the need for a DT or even NT like Raji is even less needed. I agree with mitch and think the Broncos will take a RB round #1.

If they expect Dewayne Robertson to be there NT for this year then so be it, but I think they need someone like Raji. I doubt they go RB, McDaniels has worked with guys like Maroney and Sammy Morris, not really franchise RB's. I think even the Broncos could go after a guy like Derrick Ward or Darren Sproles in free agency. I think both RB's will be on the market, no big DT's will be on the market unless Haynesworth somehow doesn't come back.

There was a reason why the defense was ranked 29th and the offense was ranked 2nd this year.

Because they can't find a defensive coordinator and their best two defensive players in Champ Bailey and D.J. Williams were injured most of the year. I think that means they need to go defense later in the draft and also get depth. I think if i can remember correctly Mike Nolan is now their defensive coordinator and he did a pretty nifty job when he was in Baltimore.

They were 27th in the league against the run, Champ Bailey can't be a big run stuffer like BJ Raji could be. BTW, the Broncos were 12th in the league running the ball, even though its a new system coming in, its not like they just relied on the pass all year.

Yes and myself along with other patriots fans thought he was going to be our guy and be Corey Dillon's successor. Well I was wrong. If he could stay on the field then we may get to see his true potential but he cant. I am hoping that maybe in the 3rd or 4th round we could pick up a decent RB because Sammy Morris is not getting any younger and he even has trouble staying on the field.

Thats the thing he cant stay healthy. I would really like to see what he could do if he played all 16 games but he just cant seem to do that.

No actually you know nothing. The Broncos fans don't make the decision the coaches and management do. Im sure they could give a rats ass what the fans think.

The Broncos have a new head coach and an entirely new offensive philosiphy. Last year yes they did pass a lot but you don't know how much they will next year. McDaniels won't pass a lot next year just because they did a lot the previous year. How do you know how much McDaniels will want to pass. You do realize they just hired a new coach. What Shanahan did last year doesn't mean McDaniels will do the same. I doubt they will pass the ball 40 times a games. With a Franchise RB they could have a balanced offense and easily have the best offense in the league.

Robertson played 3-4 NT and did so for a couple years. He was traded because he was coming back from knee injuries. Now he's past those injuries and he is better than he was. They have several guys who can play 3-4 end and they can draft players later in the draft as well to get depth and players for the future.

I think McDaniels is going to bring his NE mentality to Denver and throw the ball a lot.I think he might go try and find an ok back on the free agent market and use depth like he had in New England. Remember there are always surprises in a draft and some teams draft player you would never think of. Last year I dont think Mayo was on any mocks going to the Patriots and look how he turned out.
