I would hope at this point we'd be arguing who WE thought would be the MVP, not who the retarded voters of MLB would vote to be MVP. Why would we argue what other people who AREN'T us WILL vote?

But the winning team part means nothing. By the same argument you could put Kemp in Braun's place and his numbers would shatter Braun's. It's a winning TEAM.

He had an MVP caliber season, but the voters haven't felt the same way to a player on a losing team. I think A-Rod was the last to do it in 2005 with the Rangers.

Good thing Kemp is on a team that went 82-79. Kemp was not even on a losing team, so even if we did buy that stupid argument, it'd be non-applicable to this season's voting.

Kemp had no pressure other than trying to play for a bigger contract. A player with the same numbers on a 162-0 team compared to a 0-162 team was more valuable IMO. This is always a big debate every year though.

Idk about you, but I don't consider 3 games over .500 a winning team. I define a winning team and having a winning record differently. They had the 15th best record in the majors...middle of the pack.

Braun will win this easily. Like it or not, having a great year on a playoff team means a lot more to the voters than having a great year on a non-playoff team.
