I know man. That was the only inning Alderson did not pitch well in and it killed him. C-Gon killed me most of all with his 3-run homer. I was basically like "screw this" after the 1st inning, but I kept playing the game. Hard to keep playing when you're down big early.

Alderson: I agree, Harold. I was missing my spots early. That was the big reason for why I allowed 5 runs in the first. I remember the pitch to Carlos [Gonzalez]. Bengie set the pitch low and outside. I pitched it low and inside and he belted it for a homer.
Reynolds: I saw that. Wasn't a great pitch.
Alderson: Yeah. I mean it was only my 2nd start, but I have two quick losses already in my career.
Reynolds: I hear ya, Tim. I talked to Bruce Bochy a while back and he said he was going to bring you up. This was when Jon Sanchez got injured. Did Bochy say anything about possibly keeping you up in the majors if you start to pitch well?
Alderson: He didn't really say anything, but I know I'll be back down in the minors. Jon is a much more experienced pitcher than me and right now, he's a better pitcher than me.
