It's funny to hear another team complain about that.

In the last 30+ innings, Nationals starters have given up 2 runs. That's pretty freaking awesome.

Another great performance from Jon Niese, left with a shutout after 6 2/3 innings. Duda had a bomb to RF, too. while Murphy and Tejada continue looking strong at the plate.

Can go for the sweep tomorrow, Pelfrey vs. Hamels.

Yeah for me it's Dodgers or nothing. I'll give a passing edge to the Cardinals if the Dodgers are out just because my dad is from St. Louis, or the Angels because I have a Southern California bias and it's different leagues... but even then it's more about "not hating them" as opposed to actively rooting for them.

Well here is some history even though people don't care :lesmug:

Kentucky doesn't have a team and most adopt the Reds. I love making the trip to Cincinnati a few times a year.. my dads family is from Pennsylvania but never really said anything about the pirates or anything, all about the Steelers even though were a pretty big baseball family, dad went to auburn .. and I played into college.. I was 2-3 years old during the Reds run during the 1990 team.

I've always have the Reds in me, but during middle school and high school my favorite player was Manny and that turned into a love for the Sox and even went to fenway for some games but when Manny left I didnt care too much about the Sox any more.

The Nats, I wanted to follow when they moved to DC.. no history, championships, winning etc etc.. wanted to watch a team start from scratch and build up.

Niese does love to peckerslap the Phils. I was at that game, rough one to be at. No fun as a fan.

I hope for the best with Hamels as I always do against the Mets, but the sweep seems almost a given considering Hamels lifetime record against them.

some dude from a mets forum i visit saw Bundy pitch:

I got to see Dylan Bundy pitch tonight and it was quite a treat. A lot of experts say he's the best high school pitcher they have ever seen and there isn't much to dispute. His fastball sat 94-97 and hit 99. He's got an above average curve, slider, and changeup right now. So far this season, 2GS, 6 IPs, 0Hs 12Ks, 0BBs. He could pitch in the majors right now easily, reminds me of when we saw Felix up at 19. The last draft was pretty loaded but I still cant fathom how this kid fell to #4. He should have been #1. He is easily better than Gerrit Cole who is also a couple years older.

Hope he stays healthy. Its a good thing that he's so advanced for a young age that the Orioles really cant screw him up.

Sanchez is the dude that hit him in the thumb last year knocking him out for 2 months. They have previous beef.

Choo also started yapping at a random pitcher last week who almost hit him and walked out a few steps to the mound. He needs to tone it down, he's looking very sensitive and classless.
