The Dodgers are probably the worst team in baseball over the last 2 weeks. This is pathetic.

I've been starring at this for like 5 minutes and have no idea what it means.

It means that as the sample size increases, their batting average will regress towards the mean.

I think he was just trying to show that the Dodgers are going back to average after their hot start.

The chart made no sense like most of his postings the past two weeks or so.

I saw Bauer's line but for those who watched him, how did he look today? Just saw a little snippet on MLB network about his debut.

He wasn't too bad. Looked like he was trying to overthrow a lot of his breaking pitches and bouncing them in front of the plate. His 80mph changeup/whatever it is pitch is pretty sick though.

In the pitches they showed, I thought the changeup was a 2 seamer with a lot of movement then it showed 80 mph and just shook my head and said damn that is filthy. 12-6 hammer is disgusting also

Giants have allowed 0 runs in the last 4 consecutive games.

I don't think they've ever done that.

They're playing really well right now. I know there's a lot of baseball left, but Dodgers fans must be getting pretty worried with Kemp and Ethier out with the Giants getting hot right now. Giants need to use this time to pull ahead by 5-6 games and hopefully the Dodgers won't be able to make it up by the time the season ends.

I saw Bauer's line but for those who watched him, how did he look today? Just saw a little snippet on MLB network about his debut.

Fastball looked great, he stuck to his philosophy and ran it up in the zone. Curve ball command was lacking, and all of the hits he allowed were on breaking stuff, including an 0-2 curve to Chipper.

He was getting squeezed a bit by a stingy home plate ump, but either way it's clear he has some command issues. Improving that will be his quickest route to reaching his full potential. Stuff is crazy though, fastball was 92-96 (sat at 93) and not straight at all, and he was throwing a really wacky change-up/screwball thingy that just darts horizontally across the zone around 85 MPH.
