Can you even get the hardened edition anymore? I just pre-ordered the game +elite ( I think it's 110 total) and I'd say it's worth it if you are going to play it for long enough.
Elite is going to give you all of the DLC early (at least 3 map packs and other dlc that comes out monthly). IMO it will more than pay for itself with the three map packs.
