More Peyton Hillis love

If you were listening or watching Mike and Mike in the morning today you would have learned:

- Peyton Hillis went to Arkansas
- Was a 7th round pick
- Darren McFadden and Felix Jones were 1st round picks
- Peyton Hillis has 7 TDs this year
- DMac + Felix Jones combine for 4 TDs
- Peyton Hillis has more rushing yards then the entire Denver Broncos team.

Josh McDaniels is an idiot.

But since you bring up DMC...he's actually have a decent season. 4th in the league in rushing isn't too bad with 757 yards.

Felix Jones is a waste of money.

Now having said that, there are TWO posters on this board who have defended the ability of Hillis for his hard running and never say die attitude with the ball. Throw in that he runs damn near a 4.4 40 yard dash (or at least he did before he hyper-extended his knee, but he looked pretty damn fast breaking away from defenders yesterday) and I don't see what McDaniels didn't love. Your offense line can't create holes, you have ONE BACK who doesn't need holes and who is a PLUS-PLUS receiver out of the backfield and you let him go for what is now our emergency QB (and looked abysmal in his pre-season play) and give up a 6th??? Let's give GS and I some love for having that one all along.

Yeah, the mystery to me is that Hillis can seemingly do everything well, yet the Broncos still got rid of him. Usually you'll have a case like Cedric Benson where a player can run but can't catch or block, so a team (Bears) will get rid of him because of his shortcomings in certain areas. But from what I've seen, Hillis can run inside, run outside, catch, block, etc. The only knock on him is that he fumbles, so I don't know why McDaniels got rid of him.

I have to update it.. To be honest it was easier to laugh at my team when we weren't getting trounced by Oakland 59-14... Then it just got sad. I'll update it later today when I get home from work. It will be interesting to see the Moreno spin that BroncoBlue will put on.

Is Knogame's clit still busted? I sure hope he's still not hobbled by a sprained ovary anymore.

hillis owned the pats. his 187 yards obviously says that, but if u watched the game there were times when he was being stood up by 3 guys and he just barreled over them for 4-5 yards. the line was oustanding again, but its hillis ability to see the holes and then also move the piles. When Bell came in to run behind the same line, he didnt do shit

for all the shit mangini has taken since being let go by the jets and coming here, i have to give him credit for what he is trying to do. Its really starting to show this year. while they are only 3-5 they could easily be 6-2.

this is a TEAM and they work very well together and play a very disciplined game. teams are getting hammered by flags this year, but the browns have been excellent at not getting flagged

And McCoy was really good yesterday too. He really only made 1 bad pass/decision. he ran the offense like a vet and made all sorts of adjustments all game long. not sure how he will pan out, but i like what I am seeing

the team has really been fun to watch this year. even in the losses they played a tough competitive game and that hard work is now showing up in wins.

Holgren needs to STFU though....he isnt the coach and he needs to keep quiet about are style of play

I've been hearing good things about DMac, so it was surprising to hear that him and Jones only have 4 combined touchdowns.
