Ravens fans are idiots plain and simple. Listen to these people talk everyday about the Ravens is just awful for the ears. He has a bad game and everyone just hates him. He was a catch away from the SB last year.

It's Cam Cameron fault not Flacco. When Ray RIce gets 6 carries in 2nd half, it's the OC fault.

I agree that Cam Cameron isn't good, but Flacco is still mediocre at best IMO. You look at the Steelers, who in the last 5 or 6 years have been virtually the same team as the Ravens (with a worse RB)...the QB makes the difference. Flacco is fine, but does any Ravens fan really trust him?

IMO, Flacco is a good quarterback, not a great quarterback ... but certainly good enough to not stop a team's Super Bowl aspirations. His deep ball is undeniable, his poise is rock solid ... but there's just something about Flacco, to me, that just cries out borderline top 10 QB, but not a franchise QB whatsoever.

Maybe it's the Brady thing. Some people criticize Brady because a lot of his completions are 5 yards or so. Nothing spectacular, but his completion percentage and winning percentage are sexier than Flacco's.

IMO, Flacco has to embrace more check downs.

I blame John Harbaugh for every Ravens loss to Pittsburgh, because every time he faces the Steelers he loses his shit.

I think Flacco is underrated for a couple reasons.

One, he is incredibly durable. He can take a beating and still be on the field, and I think that is a big reason for why the Ravens are a contender every season. They never have a 4-game stretch where they are playing Luke McCown at QB or something like that.

Two, I think he's been handcuffed by the Ravens offense to a certain degree. Flacco throws a great deep ball...he could be the best deep thrower in the NFL, but for most of his career he's been stuck with slow WRs like Boldin and Mason. His best deep threat was Todd Heap, because he could at least lob the ball to him. Torrey Smith has been good for Flacco this year, but I think that aspect of Flacco's game has been underutilized.

Many years ago when Cam Cameron was the head coach at U of Indiana, I attended a coaching clinic of his. So, Cameron is in auditorium filled with coaches, and he goes up to the chalkboard...

Flacco and Torrey Smith have something special working and I love it, but my only issue with the offense (or Flacco) is that the majority of his passes are either 40+ yard bombs to Smith or Jones, or dump off passes to Ray Rice or Pitta. I'd like to see Flacco attack a defense at all of the levels. Again, I'm not sure if this is due to Flacco or the offensive play calling. I do know Cameron should go, but I'm not sure that is going to happen. Flacco also has terrible pocket awareness, because I've seen him take sacks or be stripped of the ball too many times. However, I do like Flacco and really don't see a reason to move in another direction.

The Cameron playbook features three routes...an out, a comeback/curl, and a 9 route. They also have a WR screen that they throw to Jones on 2nd/3rd and long. That's it. Watch the Steeler game, I think they had one play the entire game that they threw over the middle, and it was a gain of 19. It's comical to watch the receivers at times. Against the Steelers, in that first game, the Steelers kept having a DB undercut Smith and another DB over the top, and Cameron never made any type of adjustment to try and free him up, it was the same curl routes and outs all game long.
