Most Over/Underrated Player On Your Team

Overrated: Vernon Wells, Alex Rios, take your pick

Underrated: Marco Scutaro. Also tho, Scott Rolen has turned into an underrrated 3B after some down years. Dude is killing the ball and is still one of the best with the glove.

Try again? For what? Lowell is overrated. He had a great 2007, but his OBP, AVG, and SLG are all down. Hell, every statistic is lower. He was injured this year and last year, but not near his insane '07 numbers.

That is better than every Red Sox starter in the same time span. The only player with a higher BA is Ellsbury. Underrated? Insanely.
 
Overrated = Bronson Arroyo

Underrated = Joey Votto

Arroyo is serverly overrated by Reds fans, I haven't liked him since his first year in Cincy, he has continued to have horrible starts but wins games on being the lucky benefit of run support, by far this guy is the worst Starting pitcher the Reds have, yet I continue to hear him and Harang refered two as the top two starters in the rotation, just becuase they are the highest paid doesn't make them the best.

Votto is not underrated by Reds fans, he is Underrated by everyone else, this guy is a beast this guy puts up the numbers Adam Dunn was suposed to, he has only had one full year in the majors, and this year he missed nearly a month so he still won't have a full year, look for him to have a huge year next year if he stays healthy. The big problem is that playing 1st base he will never see an Allstar game with the likes of Ryan Howard, Prince Fielder and that guy St Louis all being NL 1B's
 
Over: Chipper would be the obvious choice, but people have pretty much accounted for his injuries and know he's overrated, making him properly rated. I'll go with Casey Kotchman....not that anyone thinks he's good, I just think he really sucks.

Um... no one's saying Jeter's great. Most of the people argue that he absolutely sucks. While his range factor is bad (17th of 22 MLB SSs that qualify), his fielding percentage is 3rd best in the majors, and his zone rating is 5th best.

So, in actuality, he's really not as bad as people like to make him out to be. He's definitely not great, but he's not a sieve, and should probably be considered above average.

Interesting that most of the guys at the bottom of zone rating are at the top of range factor, and vice versa.

Anyway, overrated: for right now, Joba. Seriously, get into the 7th a bit more.

they need to put Bowker in the lineup as much as possible, they should put him at 1st in road games cuz Ishikawa is non-existent on the road
