I wish I was Scrubs
So yesterday, I caved. I saw the Best Buy deal and I really wanted to buy some games for the 360. I immediately thought Borderlands, Forza 3, and Dragon Age: Origins. I wasn't sold on Forza, but Forza 2 was fun, so I thought I'd give it a shot.
The problem was... Dragon Age wasn't out. I thought it was for some stupid reason, but most certainly, it was not available. What was I to do? I didn't want to risk getting a place holder, but decided FIFA 10 would be an acceptable replacement and I head down to Best Buy.
While there, I look around and of course... no Borderlands. I am pissed, but I start looking around and really, I didn't want to get Forza or FIFA, neither are all that tempting to me. I'm thinking about heading home, then I see it... the new Ratchet and Clank game. I didn't have PS3, but my biggest loss is not having this series to play. It is incredibly fun and anyone who hasn't played it is missing out. But I don't have a PS3... well... fuck it, you only live once. I grab 2 more games and I am off to the checkout with a PS3 in hand. This is the Best Buy bill...

Grand Total (including tax) - 473.88
But oh... I'm not done. I head over to GameStop with a few old games and start looking around for Borderlands. No dice there either. I ask for the first Ratchet and Clank and the first Uncharted, but they only have Ratchet and Clank. I grab a second controller and return some games, here is the bill...
Ratchet & Clank 1 - 24.99
Controller - 54.99
Trade-ins - -74.83
Grand Total - 10.35
But I really want Uncharted. I don't like to play through sequels without playing through the first. So I head over to Wal-Mart and check the store. Of course, nothing, but I see in the top right corner... Borderlands for the 360. Fuck it, I've already spent this much, whats a little more?

Grand Total - 63.89
At this point, Discover is calling me to ask if my card is stolen. I should just stop... but I still want Uncharted. So I head to Amazon...

Grand Total - 31.76
So my final tally... $579.88! Before you get mad at me, I had worked about 40 different games at scoreboard for the school I teach at, so I made about 600+ bucks off of that, so it all evens out. I would do those things again in a heartbeat if it meant getting this much stuff guilt free.
