Been asking this question everywhere...still need an answer.

I read you can play as Boston....but I can't figure out how to switch teams.

edit: Seems to be a glitch. Ronnie is trying to figure out why this is happening.

The demo is solid, but im still not sold on dropping $60 on it. Im gonna spend more time on it and try to learn the new isomotion so i can get a better feel for it.

2k messed up not including plays however watch the video on 2k.com about the iso controls then notice and look at the post D (really is great tried one game to just dunk all the time and the cpu actually stopped me pretty well)

I think they picked up on the past few years well and made everything so much smoother. Obviously the demos 2k puts out are barebones, but by the looks of this it's a very solid game. Wish you could play as the Celtics? For the most part though I'm impressed.

For those that know the series and already have it in their head they are buying 2K, the demo doesn't matter. We know the game itself will be above Elite. However, if you aren't familiar with 2k basketball and are debating which game to get, this can not help your cause for a sale.

That's usually how ALL nba 2k demos are. You shouldn't even be surprised at what this demo holds, except for the fact you can't even choose the Celtics. Which apparently is a glitch..

You can run plays on the demo

Once most of your players are past half court tap LB/L1 and then quickly follow that up by pressing the icon of the player you want to run the play for. For example, Kobe Bryant would be B or O. So initially, tap LB/L1 and then quickly tap B/O. A red circle will be under the player of choice, Kobe in this case. You will now need to press another face button (A,B,X,Y/X,O,Triangle,Square) to initiate a play. If done correctly, play art will show up on the court."

"Anyone try the "flick flick" moves yet? They're some of my favorite shots.

Hold LT, flick the Shot Stick and let it return to neutral (like a pumpfake), then flick and hold it again before the pumpfake ends. You get different shots depending on your movement, facing, distance, and direction of your flicks.

I noticed that it isn't that easy to drive into the paint anymore. I only played 1 'game' but it was awesome! The graphics have thoroughly improved and the gameplay(from what I saw) is very realistic. And also, the computer steals like every pass.

I love it and cannot wait for the release!

NBA 2K11 Will Feature 'Dynamic Attendance'

Ever notice that half the Staples Center crowd is either tied up in traffic or too famous to arrive on time for the Lakers' tipoff? NBA 2K11 has, and the video game's "dynamic crowd" feature will reflect that.

The gang at Visual Concepts studied attendance numbers and watched footage of broadcasts from every NBA arena over the course of the season, comparing that to factors such as star players visiting or the home team's record or playoff contention at the time.

So, not only will this govern capacity at tip-off, you'll see it through the game. The stands won't be full for the second half tip because a third of folks will still be in line for nachos or taking a dump. If you're getting jocked by 20 midway through the fourth on a school night, say goodbye to half your crowd. That sort of thing.

As with other aspects of the presentation, this will have a different meaning in Association, which is the game's persistent franchise mode. Visual Concepts says more details about that are coming, but it sounds like it will be tied to your position in the standings, especially if you're fighting with your nearest rival for home court or the last playoff slot. Next week, I'm told, we'll learn more about this and other new features in Association.

Crowd dynamics have been a pet detail of mine, especially as developers have tried to make its enthusiasm - or lack thereof - more authentic in recent titles. This is a very interesting detail to me, mostly because I know how sensitive the NBA is about image management and presenting its product. But the cold hard fact is not every game is a sellout, and not everyone's standing and cheering throughout. So good for 2K Sports for adding fluctuating attendance to the narrative you're building with your team's performance.

The organ is very different to the organ they use at Staples Center....play NBA Live 10 and they demonstrate they have the real organ sounds. Stupid fag.

I played the demo some more yesterday and liked what I seen. I hate playing with that cam view though. The iso moves should be easier (Like always) on the 2k cam.
