Star - Blake Griffin - I don't think he'll be a superstar at all, and while his game is limited to roughly five feet at this point, he is athletic, strong, and plays nasty. Also good on the boards. If Kevin Love can come in and average double digit boards, I see no reason why Blake Griffin can't. I am not sure he'll ever score 20ppga unless he ends up on a run'n'gun team, but, I think he'll be alright. If he develops any sort of jumper, watch out though. Closest thing to a star in this draft that isn't very good.
Sleeper - Patrick Mills, if he declares. No one, not even Chris Paul, could keep up with him in the Olympics. Played out of position a bit at St. Mary's. I am not even sure he is coming out, but if he does, I think he'll be a good one. Might start off the bench, but I think he can really develop into a solid player.
If Mills isn't in the draft...I'll pick Sam Young. Yeah, a little older then you want, but he can score from anywhere.
Super sleeper...maybe Dionte Christmas...I think he'll be a bench player in the Assoc., but could be a good one. Big ups to Jack McClinton, too...I think he has the ability to have an Eddie House like career.
Bust - BJ Mullens - I've heard he doesn't even LIKE basketball and just wants to make that money to help out his poor family. Mullens had a tough life, so going pro was an easy choice. He'll get picked high based on "potential". As a man that will make a quick $5M+, good for him, he has taken his family from the gutter into a suitable living condition. As a basketball player, I just can't buy him as a good one...he didn't really start at OSU and when he came in, color me unimpressed.
