Even though Seattle is the biggest loser in all of this, it feels like we won.

How's it feel to have Seattle revolve around everything....*as far as old Sonics fans are concerned*

Legacy wise a great thing about this championship is that it is seen as James' team and James' championship. He was the MVP of the regular season and MVP of the finals. Two years ago I didn't think he'd be able to shake the "yeah, but you won it with Wade, Bosh, etc" arguments, but he has overcame even that argument. I already thought he was the greatest SF ever, but he at least now has a championship to help in validating that. People can say what they want about James, but during this title run he never disappointed and lived up to the expectations that we have of our superstars.

It was good to see Durant crying.......it's going to hurt and it should. OKC is going to be back and win a few during his career.

People originally thought that teaming together those 3 stars would make winning easy. Now everyone realizes thats not the case, they have to grind hard to win. Wade has lost a step and Bosh isnt as dominant as he was in Toronto, Lebron has carried this team on his back.

Watched the game again last night and I have to say that Kevin Durant does NOT do a good job demanding touches. He can go a couple of possessions just running around not even looking for the ball. It's weird

True but it not just that he doesn't do a good job of demanding touches; it also showed some weakness in his game. His need to get stronger period. At that height and with that type of shooting range, an inside post up game would make him a finished offensive product. Also, in the open court going behind the back and that type of stuff showed some immaturity. He needs to get better in some areas.

Great call on this. The Heat KNEW to swarm him the second he started dribbling up the court.

Congratulations to Miami. I think they played well, and OKC did not play well consistently. I think if there was one moment when OKC "lost" the series, it was game 4 (?) when they jumped out to a huge 1st period lead, then they stopped scoring and Miami had virtually tied it up by halftime. OKC seemed to lack the killer instinct...they'd play great for a stretch, then shutdown for an equally long amount of time. I guess that might be expected from such a young team.

That said, congrats to LeBron James. People are haters, and it got to the point where I was actually excited to see LeBron in the finals and ready to make millions of people eat crow and be upset. Most versatile player since Magic, arguably the most versatile player to ever play the game. Tough call between Magic and LeBron.

Not really disagreeing with you, but LeBron is so versatile he is almost like a combination of Bird and Magic when it comes to production. And he is much better at one-on-one defense than either of those two. LeBron is a not as good as a rebounder or passer as Bird, but he handles the ball just as much (if not more) than Bird did. This year's postseason was the first time I saw LeBron really take charge of games. I've always seen him as being the least charismatic star athlete in sports history, because he seemed to be on the periphery of the game, accumulating stats and making nice plays but not really changing the course of the game. This year seemed to be different...maybe its just that my perception was off and I didn't see James play enough.

Its hard to compare LeBron to anyone, really. I think the closest thing would be Oscar Robertson. With Jordan, Bird, and Magic, they had different styles and were surrounded by some very good players. LeBron is like a throwback player to when (racist alert) a team would have one or two black players and those guys would basically lead the team in every statistical category (like Robertson).

I don't think its a stretch to call LeBron the most versatile player in NBA history, to be honest.

Miami became the first team to win a title after trailing in 3 playoff series.

I also find it interesting Miami drastically changed their starting lineup in the playoffs from what it was during the entire regular season.

I may not like him as a person, but James is one HELL of a player- no one can deny that.
