EA Sports has sent out a press release announcing the availability of the NCAA Basketball 10 demo. It is now available for the 360. While it has not shown up in the “New Arrivals” section it can be found by going to “All Game Demos” and searching by the letter ‘N’.

the presentation is top notch and everything I thought it would be from watching the videos. I think the game plays a little stiff though with shooting, seemed like there was a delay from when I pushed the button to the shot on the tv. It seemed the Live demo played a little bit looser to me.

I have a PS3 so i have to wait but judging by Pasta Padre's videos, the presentation is insane....very very realistic. The players move smoothly IMO while you run plays. The court feels gigantic while the players feel pretty small. Commentary is OK.

i have almost zero interest in the sport but find the game rather fun to play. probably gonna pick it up.

didnt expect this because i was hearing from Pasta Padre amongst others that PS3 users will get the demo on the 19th....a few days after the game is released.

With that said, the demo was fun to play. Loved the motion offense feature. Player models improved big time from NCAA 09. The presentation is sick! The commentary actually wasnt too bad. I loved how the players fought for the possesion of the ball. Cant wait to get this and play as my Okie State Pokes

Well i got the game and just finished my first game...lost to Saint Mary's while playing at home with my OSU Cowboys...lost 49-48. I definetly collapsed in the second half lol but it was still fun nonetheless. I wasnt even mad. James Anderson had 28 points lol. he was beasting.

But some impressions!!!

1) Presentation is sick! Said this numerous times. Best presentation i have seen in a sports title since NFL 2k5 IMO. Definetly makes you feel you are watching a real college bball game on TV. No halftime or postgame shows...you'll see highlights and some stats though. Commentary can get quiet at times. I havent played a CBS game yet, only ESPN. Barely heard from Erin Andrews....maybe because three timeouts total were called? IDK.

OSU's Gallagher-IBA arena is ranked as the 16th toughest place to play and there were moments where it was rockin! Love when the screen shakes when the opposing team has the ball in crucial situations. Pistol pete was in the game so that is a plus although his head looked wayyy too orange.

2) Player models definetly improved from that of NCAA 09! Now you actually have thick build players and not stick figures! I can tell you may have to edit some appearances in this game because when I went to name Dominque Jones of USF, he had an afro! He never had a 'fro so i edited it so that he had a fade/ the style he has now. You cant add tattoos to pre-existing players it seems but the option is there..maybe you can do it on create a player. Haven't tried it. You can add headbands, change shoe and sock colors, skin complextion, hair style, and ratings. If you want the announcers to say a players last name, you have to make sure it's in the last name data base this game has. If the last name isn't in the database, you can still name the player but the announcers wont say that name. For example, USF's augustus gilchrist's last name (gilchrist) isnt in the database so the announcers wont say it.

3) The USF Sundome is in the game but it's basically a generic arena named the sundome. I went to USF for a few semesters and still root for the Bulls so i was a sad panda to see the arena didnt make the game yet again...however USF's new under armour unis are in the game!

4) Sliders.....USE/ADJUST EM! In the game i played, i didnt adjust anything. There were little fouls called....Default half length is 10 minutes so i'll prolly increase it to 12 to get a more realistic score. I also played on varsity difficulty which is like the 2nd easiest difficulty lol. Players dont get fatigued really even though fatigue is on. I didnt even make a sub in the game because my starting 5 had a lot of energy and I only called 2 timeouts throughout the whole game. St. Mary's made few subs as well. Im going to tinker with the sliders later.

5) Lighting is good

6) Free throw meter is killin me. You hold square until you place this red bar into a little blue area. those who played the demo know what im talking about. I keep anticipating too much so when i do click square im close to the blue area but off by 1 square.

7)Crowd animation is awesome. When the opponent is on the line, they wave their arms side to side and do some other things as well. When you are on the line, they place their hands straight up in the air. Heard some O-S-U chants which was awesome.

8)No authentic schedules out of the box.....i heard we have to wait till the first dynamic update is available which will be next monday.

9) Less 5 star recruits in dynasty mode...which is good cause NCAA 09 had tons of em.

10) No online dynasty, no campus legend. There is an EA Locker to download rosters. You can take pictures in a game and upload em to EA Sports World.


thats all i got for now....this game is indeed very fun to play IMO. Prolly cuz i love me some college basketball. I heard this game is very similar to NBA Live 10 but i never even played Live so I cant confirm/deny that. I havent owned or really played a college basketball game since CH 2k8 but this game will keep me satisfied all the way till March. Will tinker with sliders and help Operation Sports with their community PS3 roster.

Any questions, let me know!!!!! Uniforms, arenas, etc. I dont want to list an entire teams' rating because i am a lazy fuck.

I also want to add the team ratings are crazy in this game

USF is like an A- OVERALL!!! I love the Bulls and all but they are no A- team. Okie State is an A- as well and we have 7 new players on this year team. Hell, the Georgia Bulldogs are a B+!
