NCAA Rosters Thread

Can someone explain to me why rosters that are named (i.e. IronDragonU) when you DL them and use them in exhibition work fine. Yet, when they are loaded and you start a RTG they erase all the names and go back to the numerical rosters?

I noticed someone saying rosters not being "dynasty ready" or something of that nature and I am assuming this issue I am having is related to it. However, I don't understand why the rosters work in exhibition, then when you enter them into RTG they erase all the work done and they then save as just numerical rosters.

It's really fucking annoying.

I remember when I started my dynasty, there was an option during dynasty setup to load rosters. Not sure if it's the same as RTG startup, but it's worth a look.

This just happened to me as well. started my RtG over largely to use those rosters. Get to college to find out that Ive got random named rosters. WTF
 
RTG always renames the rosters.

In mine, Eddie Lacy (HB #42 at 'Bama) is named Bo Jackson...:smh: Bo would be unhappy to know his clone chose his rival.
 
Following Buckeyes02 on Twitter certainly not done yet, could be this weekend, no big deal to me as I am Rtg right now, blows to not have names in Rtg, every year since moving to ps3 its been like that. I usually create a player on my roster file and use them as an existing player, but with high school senior season, gotta roll with it thus year, loving this high school stuff, downloaded my high school and 10 local schools.

That sucks. I've never tried RTG before so I didn't know. I still don't understand why the game wipes the names off the roster set though and reverting them back to just numerical rosters.

Not a huge deal. Just have to re-download those rosters. More of a nuisance than anything really.
 
So what are the best rosters for 360 because I want to start my dynasty. Things a little off don't bother me, as I know little of NCAA and players, so I wouldn't notice/care anyway. Or is there a good roster coming out in the next day or so.

If you want you can download my rosters. They are pretty up to date, I basically took Pasta Padres and fixed a bunch of shit.

  • Enter "Team Management" in the Main Menu
  • Scroll right and select "Roster Share"
  • Select "Download Roster"
  • Either click on one of your friends name to find their rosters or just select "download roster" and enter an online id.
It will find the roster file associated with that username. You can save it and give it a name (or keep it as is). You can use Roster files for every mode except RTG. If the Roster file has changes made (other than just names) from the default roster, you can not use it online.

this is the roster i want because i will prob be only playing online for right now...whose roster should i get? (PS3)
 
I did full equipment edits off my denver105 roster for Penn State. The whole roster for Penn State was spot on. I also made other changes like giving Denard Robinson dreads and taking them off of other people and uploaded my progress to my locker on ps3 if anyone cares. Why Penn State? I don't really know.

Eddie Lacy is a fucking stud IRL, one of the best high school backs I've ever seen in person. He had grade issues so LSU backed off and just to spite us Saban offered him immediately.
