Nebraska kicked it up a gear (or at least started to do something on offense) and showed they are a better football team than Misery. Misery may have imploded but Nebraska had a lot do to with it. They just took the life out of them..I loved it.

Suh's best comparison I can see is Richard Seymour. Great length, explosiveness, and strength all in one package, plus Suh can play in multiple schemes which is a huge plus. I'd be shocked if this guy isn't a top 5 pick. The thing I love most about Suh is his pursuit, for a defensive tackle he has amazing speed to chance down the ball carrier. Plus he is going to command a double team every time he is on the field due to his athleticism and strength so that helps out the rest of the D-Line. He is going to collapse the pocket on passing downs and be a force in the back field on running downs, he just has all the tools to be a force.

Both big guys, 6'4 300 plus that can play inside(4-3) or outside in a 3-4. They've got a lot in common, just ask the Nebraska guys that post on here.

Pretty sure Suh will go anywhere from 5-10, possibly even quicker.

Lot of shitty teams this year, but most have more potential than Oakland does, so we should have a shot.

Really, bro.

Carricker wasn't 300 at NU, he wasn't even that at his first NFL camp. I think he also played DE almost exclusively in college. He was super effective there, and stinks to high heavens as a UT in St. Louis. I've gotten the "pleasure" of watching him because I live in this terrible football market.

Suh, on the other hand, is a true DT. He has the frame to bulk up slightly and play NT in a 4-3, which Carricker isn't even close to. Suh could be playing at 310-315 or so in the league, maybe even bigger if that team needs him to be. Carricker hasn't been the same since he was below-290. And there's a big difference between 6'6, 296 and 6'3, 305 which Suh will probably be at the Combine. Suh is much stronger against the run than Carricker. He's a much more rare athlete, even though Carricker graded out nicely at the Combine. Suh has the upside to be an impact pass rusher in the NFL, Carricker doesn't (at least on the interior).

So they played different positions, Suh is a much better prospect (could have gone top 10 as an underclassman), stronger, quicker off the snap. I think Suh compares, again, very closely to Kevin Williams at Oklahoma St, where as Carricker is an over-sized end in the mold of a Charles Grant. I don't think Williams and Grant are very comparable either.....

So your saying there's a big difference between Carriker being 6'6 296 and Suh at 6'3 305, but then you compare to him Kevin Williams, who is about 6'5 310?

Carriker is stronger & faster than Suh is. Why do you think all the scouts were jizzing all over themselves after the combine and pro-day for this guy? There not very many guys walking around that are around 295+ pounds and run 4.7.

I don't know how you can say that Suh is a much better prospect than Adam was.

I love Gerald McCoy, though he's not a fit in a 3-4 defense IMO. I'd love for the Bears to draft him to take over for Tommie Harris.

Suh and Carriker dont compare at all if you ask me. Carriker was a true end transformed into a DT. Why? I have no fuckin clue why. St. Louis is dumb.

Suh can play interior in a 4-3, or play end and nose in a 3-4. That flexibility alone makes him the better prospect. Teams wont have to worry about compatibility or making him something that hes not.
