We all know what your point was. But my point is that it doesn't matter with this type of game because it's arcade so the added response you get from the triggers on 360 is a moot point. There is no feather of the brake or gas in this game which is the advantage of the 360 triggers.

That's what you don't seem to understand. But then you come back with some nonsense about how it's still hard to control on the PS3 controller?!? Really? Well then why are you the only one having problems? Look at Wings. He just got a PS3 a few months ago. He's been playing with a Xbox/360 controller for as long as I've known him. Yet he has absolutely no issues. Interesting.

its not about the responsiveness for feathering. its about the responsiveness of the triggers and having it being a grind to hold the buttons down. The slightest let up on the pressure you apply cause you to decelerate. This is not the case with the more responsive 360 triggers. AGAIN for the retard section......on the PS3 you must mash the button down in order to maintain top speed while driving. On the 360 you do not have to do this because it is a better controller design and the triggers are easier to hold down. Plus, the set up of the analog sticks on the ps3 controller dont allow your hand to provide good support while holding the triggers and trying to push a face button. again, this is not the case with the 360 controller because of how the analog sticks are layed out

Do you have severe arthritis or something? If so then you probably shouldn't be using the bulky 360 controller with the giant battery back sticking out of the back. I wouldn't want you to hurt yourself.

I thought I complained a lot. I complain about bullshit practices and overpriced shit by both companies, yet somehow you only seem to focus on when I point out M$ (I did that for you by the way). You seem to complain about the fucking sky being blue.

And just so you don't call me a PS3 "fanboy" again, just to let you know I will probably never buy GT5 because of the lack of fidelity in the triggers on the controller. I sure as hell won't buy a steering wheel. I'll stick to Forza for the closest to sim racing.

Also, in case I forgot to mention, I'm level 11 in both. Plus I just destroyed one of Empire's times in a Hot Pursuit event because it said he beat be 16 minutes ago.

I just did a Rapid Response that takes place mostly on a freeway type stretch of road. It's absolutely ridiculous because there is so much traffic to avoid.

I swear this even type is a black eye on an otherwise amazing game. It is beyond frustrating.

I really think that if I played the shit out of this game I could get golds in everything...except RR.

Oh, and Maynard, not that it matters but you can drive different speeds using the PS3 controller. I was doing it earlier just to prove you wrong. If I had a capture card I'd be glad to show you. But you know what? It's pointless! You are either going balls to the wall, or just hitting the brakes to start a drift or avoid an obstacle. There is NEVER a reason or situation to drive anything but as fast as you fucking can.

Although i wouldn't mind you posting your times on whatever events you choose and I'll post mine. We can see how much of a detriment the PS3 controller is with this game when my times smoke yours.

Hot damn. Which one was it? I honestly don't think I will ever even get a silver in one of those. Especially the ones where you are required to use the higher end cars. It's a catch 22. That can haul the fucking mail but the faster you go the more chance you are probably going to hit something, thus penalizing you.

i do like your idea of posting times though. it would be great if the games servers allowed for universal friends tracking. everyone is playing COD on my FL so its just me and jms competing. he is pretty good though and tough to beat

i havnt played it today cause im locked into god of war. that game should be goty for sure. crazy sick game

But yeah, it would be awesome if they could combine AutoLog with a website for the game. That way you could see times of friends on PC, 360 or PS3.

Also, getting back to Maynard's mention of the Road Rash games. Seeing as Criterion added bikes via an update to Burnout Paradise I wouldn't put it past them to add them to this game via DLC, along with motor cops. But I don't see them going the whole melee weapons route.

Edit: I realized I have EA Replay for PSP. It has ALL three Road Rash games along with several other EA classics. I'm playing Road Rash 1 now. Woot!
