New York Knicks 2013-14 Season Thread

Seven turnovers in the 4th quarter - so sick of Toney Douglas.

Knicks are hot garbage - no point guard, no chemistry between our stars, top-heavy roster, shitty coach.

I was in favor of the Carmelo trade, so I can't go back now. You need at least two superstars to have a chance in this league. But maybe Donnie Walsh was right. Maybe Dolan should have waited and not given up so much. Who knows?

I'm just sick of watching ex-Knicks have good games against this team. Even friggin' Jordan Hill played well last night. The bench is woeful and Landry Fields is totally lost.

Six games under .500 with the Pistons and Bulls coming up. And we're waiting on a dude with a bad back to save the season...(sigh)....
 
Like WFAN's Joe & Evan said, Pringles is a genius at running HIS offense. He can't adjust his system to the players he's dealt with. When Pat Riley came here, he didn't run Showtime.

you know what else you need in this league? A fuking plan.

Donnie Walsh inherited an expensive turd in the garden and got the Knicks to a place where the knicks had nice lil nucleus with some cap flexability. Dolan Hears Melo wants to be in NY and blows up the team, shows Walsh the door, attempts to rehire Isiah AGAIN!, throws around money and plays GM pretending that He has a clue. It's not Just putting 2 20+ pt scorers together and hoping for the best, if it was then Marbury/Steve Francis would've worked.

ok, Walsh Cleared space got a couple of inexpensive kids and put it all on signing Lebron and a superstar to be named later. The big free-agent haul ended up as Amare[super star A] and Raymond Felton[upgrade at pg]. Amid modest expectations, The Knicks then went on a nice little run that bordered on resurgence early last year, Amare took charge and put up numbers and Felton flourished in D'Antoni's system. Nice lil core was built with cap flexability to sign a superstar in the upcoming offseason.

Melo becomes available, makes noise about wanting to play in NY, walsh and Denver get into a game of chicken bc Its known league wide that Melo only wants NY and has already killed a nets deal. Dolan gets pissy, takes over negotiations, and proceeds to deal half the team to aquire Melo, Team is sub .500 since.

THE ONLY 1 that put on any pressure to make a deal is James Dolan. A trustfund baby who's major claims to fame are a blues band that no1 gives a fuck about, hiring Isiah Thomas Twice, and being at the Helm of the Garden for the past decade in which the Knicks have had ZERO playoff wins.
