I really like Chandler...and he's tearing it up in China (avg like 43 a game lol)...

he'd be a good fit for the knicks.

Would love chandler back, we could play him at the 2 when Melo and Amar'e are on the court, the 3 when only Amar'e is on the court, and possibly play him at the 4 when Melo and Fields are in.

Still need a center. Dalembert would be nice to have. Exactly what we could use. At this point, I much rather fill out of lineup and bench then get paul. Melo and Amar'e are enough.

the Knicks are in such cap hell Harrelson will actually make the roster lol, i dont think hes a long term NBA guy. Hes a big body if nothing else.

Ian O'Connor earlier in the week making the case that no matter how much Paul wants to come to NY, they can't make it happen (not enough assets, not enough money), so they should focus on Howard by putting Amare or Melo in play.

Knicks are in on Tyson Chandler and could ultimately get rid of Billups & Tauriaf to make room (sign the center to a 4-year deal with $14 mil per).


UPDATE -- Billups is pissed about this going down. He's likely getting amnestied. Chandler is close to a 4-year, $58 million deal with the Knicks.

If Baron Davis gets cut via amnesty, the Knick will be interested in bringing him on board, too.

Horrible idea with Bibby, but other than that I do like what the Knicks are doing. Why the hell is Bibby still getting looks? You could easily find someone better for the point who actually plays a lick of defense.

Don't you know? Chandler fills our ENTIRE defensive quota. He'll handle everything on that side of the court! No need to have Douglas clogging up D'Antoni's scheme by playing defense when we have Chandler!

Shumpert has been doing amazing things in camp and during the offseason. I'm excited about him. He'll be good in the second unit covering for Bibby's mistakes.

If we could get Jamal Crawford, we'll have a great roster imo.

We really could use another back up big. We have Balkman, Jeffries, and I think Williams who can play the backup 4. If we can land Crawford or Davis to play the 1 or 2, then we need to find a backup big. Let's not forget that Amar'e will be out at least a couple games this year for whatever reason.
