Few notes on this game..

1) Percy Harvin is back, will not be on a snap count, and is telling everyone he is 100%. He will also handle kick return duties on Saturday.

2) Possibly a HUGE factor on Saturday will be the weather. The forecast keeps getting worse, and as of today they are forecasting for up to 2 inches of rain with wind gusts at 50MPH.

3) Pierre Thomas is doubtful to play.

4) KJ Wright, who did a fantastic job defending Jimmy Graham in the December meeting, is out for the game with a cracked foot.

5) Luke Willson, who had a high ankle sprain in the Week 17 win over the Rams is likely going to play on Saturday.

Burkhardt & Lynch with a hell of a conclusion to their 2013 debut season. Hope to see more of them next season.
 
LOL at offensive PI against the Saints. What nonsense, the Seahawks defence holds on every play. No wonder the Seahawks are one of the only good defences in the NFL, they seem to be one of the few teams which the 2004 rule book still applies to.
 
there defense is awesome, thats why they might get away with one. But in reality, they cover like no other team these days. you notice how their defenders always stick with the receivers? its not holding, it technique. they use there hands to feel the receiver and where he is going which enables them to watch the play. So if its a run they can swarm, or if it goes to someone else, they can see it and swarm. it also allows them to see when their guy is getting the pass to watch and play the ball.

they have alot of talent, but its coached talent. Pete Carroll has done a fantastic job coaching those guys on how to play and the fundamentals. nobody seems to have the fundamentals anymore. they can cover, they cant tackle ect ect...the seahawks do and that why they have the only real defense in todays offensive game.
 
"It's not holding". They get called for more DPI and defensive holding than anyone in the league, and they get away with more still.
 
when you are aggressive you are certainly going to be called for more flags.

interesting that while they are #1 in PI calls, they only had 13 PI all year and 9 holding all year (4th)

isnt it worth it to play that style to only give up 14 points per game?

Seahawks looked great. Wtf was with the clock management and decisions late by the Saints. Going for that FG was maaaaaaybe forgiveable but that ridiculous pass by colston...lulz.
Bad weather , Beast Lynch and good defense. I can watch Seahawks play home for the rest of the tourney and be happy.
