I question everyone's definition of Pass Interference. That was definitely PI. Contact was made. You can't maul someone even though you eventually touch the ball. Contact can't be made while the ball is in the air. It happened.

The contact was minimal and inconsequential to the play. He was hardly "mauled", c'mon. Hawk barely made contact with the receivers shoulder. The ref had a bad angle, the play was incredibly athletic & clean.

The only contact I saw was made by Hawk's legs and he had touched the ball by the time they even hit Sproles.

Take another look. He was all over his back. You can tell because Sproles reacts to being hit before Hawk touched the ball. You are basically saying Hawk cleared Sproles.

I'm a Packers fan and I believe that Hawk should have been flagged for PI. It was a little ticky tack but Hawk made contact with Sproles even though it was an incredible athletic effort and you can't fault the official for seeing it that way.

On an actual Week 1 note. I'm nervous about tonight.

Our offensive line is incredibly young and will face their toughest and most confusing defense this season.

Our CBs are beat up and were already young and pretty inexperienced. I've been on Scandrick's case his entire time as a Cowboy and now I get to see him as the #2 corner tonight. I'm really going to try and put my hatred for him aside and give him a fair shake now since he was our "best" corner during the pre-season.

Here's hoping Romo doesn't get killed because for the love of God I cannot watch Kitna fail to throw 10 yard slants again.
