As far as offense is concerned, I'm worried about our lack luster run game. I'm hoping to just chalk it up to a 1 week thing, because we played a damn good defense. Oh, and the 6 or so dropped passes between our tightends, who are primarily classified as "receiving" tightends.

We'll see next week against Cleveland, which will also be probably be a close game to do to it being a rival. But if we get blown out... :smh:
 
LOL, now we're going to start conferring on hits to the QB head??? I thought those were automatic penalties? 3rd down and D'Qwell Jackson hits Tanny in the head after releasing the ball, facemask to facemask, flag is thrown, and the refs confer and say it was all legal. Granted the hit was not hard, but the implication is they must feel he was trying to "let up." It was 100% a "hit to the helmet" though via all replays.
 
Just got home for a few hours, tuning into ATL/NO. Just checked scoreboard for the league as well, very surprised to see Bills ahead of Pats, even if it is by a FG.
 
From the little I've seen, the Saints defense is looking pretty damn good, which is worlds' better than last season under **********. They are going to be more of a threat than I thought.
 
Pryor's really impressed me with his ability to manage the game. He's known his strengths and weaknesses so far and is playing within his limitations.

I also like how he is conducting himself. He's hustling and keeping his head up, trying to make plays any way he can. If he can continue to play like this then he could eventually develop into a pretty good quarterback.

that bucs jets finish was funny as fuck. that dumbass putting the late hit on smith reminded me of another former Buc in Dwayne Rudd who while playing for the browns pulled off his helmet after thinking the play was over tacking on 15 yards to the end of a run allow the Chefs to lineup and kick the game winning FG with no time on the clock. Ahhh opening day memories!
 
Good game by both Jets-Bucs. Shame we had to win because of a penalty, but a win's a win.

I'll still be rooting for the Bucs because of Revis and Schiano.
