wrong...heres the deal...24 none conference wins for the AFC and 25 none conference wins for the NFC .

your first assumption would be to tell me i'm wrong because they have more wins or its even. but most on the NFC non-conference wins come from weak NFC teams that wont matter come playoff time.

the 49ers,Rams and Cards combine for 8 non-conference wins but you know those teams wont matter come playoff time.

the entire NFC east and north wont matter a lick in the post season. Seattle has a clear path to the SB unless the Saints get in their way and who ever goes to the SB in the NFC will lose anyway.

Seattle doesn't really look any stronger then KC and barely won games against teams like Tampa, Tenn.,Houston and Carolina.

as far as the Raiders are concerned...both Pryor and Wilson have been sacked 29 times, tied for 6th most in the league. I think Wilson is a little better then the NFC QB draft class he came in with but like Kaep on SF he is still a weak link on his over all team.

The NFC's 6 seed would probably be the 2 seed in the AFC this year. Carolina just beat the 2nd best AFC team per a lot of experts. New Orleans may have lost to the Jets and Seattle may have struggled against the Rams and Bucs.. but that doesn't mean a whole lot. Seattle and New Orleans are superior teams (and in most cases.. VASTLY superior) to everyone in the AFC aside from Denver. Indy isn't the same Indy that they were when they beat Seattle, SF and Denver at the start of the year. They can't run and Luck relying on DHB/Hilton will be their downfall come January.

Face it.. the AFC is extremely weak this year. And let's not overlook the fact that Peyton Manning, who struggles mightily in the cold - is likely going to have to win 3 playoff games in cold wintery weather to get a Super Bowl.

he's a basic second year QB who is only looking decent because the rest of the team is good and stronger in other areas. He obviously is a weak link when they only rate 24th in passing. Don't bother me with well they don't have to because of run game,players injured bla bla...its because they cant and would if they could but if you are 24th it means you are lacking in that area and its the QB who cant do it well.

I agree New Orleans is very good and if they go can win a SB but if Seattle goes they will be the weakest team ever to go to and possibly win a SB. All they have is a run game and SF already proved you need more than that to win a SB.

I'll go as far as to say that Seattle can get there but they will lose anyway. When are you going to learn not to dispute me ?

by the way... I don't give a damn about the Colts either.. I never singled them out as a factor but they proved where Seattle is weak and will be noted by other teams come playoff time.

i think what you are forgetting rams is that football is a team game. so so the seahawks, he is great as part of the team. so he isnt a weak link on the team. he is a peice of the machine.

But i dont think he is an elite QB or passer by any means. he falls in with the read option QB's that ultimately never last.

There are many ways to look at the NFL, but the easiest - and most tedious – method to figure out what is going on is by examining the numbers.

Here is a numerical look at the league heading into Week 12:

1 – Touchdown pass thrown by Green Bay Packers quarterback Scott Tolzien in his past two starts. By no coincidence, Green Bay was defeated in both games.

2.8 – Yards per carry by Trent Richardson since he was acquired in a trade by Indianapolis earlier this season.

He surpassed former Lions receiver Herman Moore’s previous team record (four) of at least 1,000 receiving yards in a Lions uniform.

16,005 – Career passing yards by Detroit’s Matthew Stafford, which sets a new team record. Stafford surpassed Hall of Fame quarterback Bobby Layne (15,710) with 362 passing yards against Pittsburgh. Stafford set the new franchise record in 55 career games.
