What "media hype" are you talking about? Dallas hasn't been hyped up since they beat NY in week 1. We are now in week 9 and they haven't been talked about as being some type of contender since that point in time.

And the coverage stays the same regardless of whether Dallas is winning or losing because it riles up the network's audience and keeps them watching. Instead of tuning out the Cowboy talk, the people who hate on the Cowboys decide to throw gas into the fire. The network's audience drives the networks to continue talking about them.

Hype to me does not equal extensive media coverage. Dallas is 3-5, they're not being hyped up for anything. We are obviously using the word in differently.

My Eagles are talented, but stuck with a CFL offensive line, a CFL set of safeties and a coach who thinks it's ok to pass 70% of the time with the aforementioned O-Line.

is it the o line or is it andy reed and his pathetic pass happy offensive playcalling? they were just raping the aints on the ground but still couldnt run it enough to control the game. the 2012 scouting report on vick is to pressure him cause he cant take it....so what does reed do? he throws it more even though he has mccoy and this rookie bull dozer to balance things out.

people point at vicks turnovers and yeah he makes bad decisions. but i blame reed for putting him in many positions to fail....like the int for td tonight. terrible call by reed...cant wait until his dumbass gets fired.

Cant believe how fucking sorry the Eagles are. Made the Saints defense look like the 2000 Ravens. I wish them nothing but ill will and hope the lose the rest of their games.

I don't think Andy Reid is a bad coach, but after 14 years it's time for a change in Philly. Andy is incredibly stubborn ... even with the league's 2nd worst o-line.

IMO, Reid is a great GM, but an average coach. OK, he makes the occasional personnel mistakes (Watkins, Demtress Bell), but he's more right than wrong where personnel is concerned.

His coaching kills us. Shotgun on 1st down early in the game with that O-Line? Really?

5 receivers on pass routes with that O-Line? Really?

Reid needs a change of scenery and so do the Birds. Not sure who the answer is with Philly, but it ain't Gruden or Cowher. Both are yesterday's news.
 
Having vick on my fantasy team this year has been one hell of a rollercoaster.

It's clear from last night they need to run more 6man fronts with either a fullback or TE in the backfield blocking if they have any chance of any QB surviving out the whole season. The constant trying to go for deep passes with 5man fronts just is pure murder. Vick must of been sacked 5 times in that situation last night.

Serious question. How many people would coach after their son was found dead in the preseason? I'm wondering if that isn't really fucking with his head and making his job harder than it is. Maybe it isn't, but I was thinking about that today a lot.

i am very impressed by the bucs this year....they look really strong. i cant believe they were a underdog in oakland...this week they are 3 point favorites vs SD...yeah, they will cover that
