NHL 09 360 patch?

Yeah so far it looks good. I'll try a few online games later today and post, but seems like it is finally getting closer to real hockey. I still have to try the glitch goals and I did do the "slap shot to the top left corner" with Malkin, but I also forgot to change the setting to All-star.

Seems like most of the community are fuckheads, because you can't go a game without someone either being juiced or someone glitching. My brother and I played a game the other night, 3 on 3, and everything was going good till the guy on our team put in a glitch goal. Then the flood gates opened and the other time started as well. Everyone's reasoning is "well everyone else does it".

Oh to also point out...

every one of my penalties resulted in a faceoff in my end, so they got that right as well.

The patch is fine.

Anyone who complains about it is an idiot that wasn't playing hockey the right way to begin with.

I, personally, don't have to change the way I play at all because I never ran around hitting people like a jackass, so.

I give it a few days though until people find ways around stuff. EA forums is just jammed with people saying they can still use the juiced players, and some say they can't. Thing is, no one will ever really know what anyone else is doing till they release player stats or something and you can see for yourself. That would be a great feature to add, the ability to see what other peoples stats are, not just in goals and points, but in like shot power and all that stuff.

So leaf and I just played our first OTP game with the patch and this shit is hilarious. Here are some key stats.

- Final score 7-3 us
- PIMS 33minutes for them, 15minites for us. (1 fight)
- One player on their team had 17 minutes of penalties (29 hits)
- We were 5/13 on the power play
- Leaf had 14 hits and 3 penalties all were warrented. I had 12 hits and one penalty.
- I scored 6 goals, and leaf got 4 assists.

Basically we spent the entire game on the power play.

Well after our second game, we learned that the rope shot on both breakaways and from the hash marks still works. We played these other two brothers and they scored 6 goals, 3 cross crease and 3 rope shots. We were winning 5-3 with 2mintues left and on a PP and the guy cherry picks and gets lucky to get the puck, comes down and rope shots from the hash marks to make it 5-4. After the penalty is over, they do it again (both brothers cherrypicking) and they score on a rope. They then win in OT. Their third goal was also that thing you do on a break where you pull the shot back coming down on the left side, slide across to the right and put it over the goalies left shoulder.

So EA still has some fixing to do. The gay thing is, I really wish they would cut out this, you can quit within first 5 mintues, because we played them a game before where we scored within the first 5 mintues and they quit.
