So, for the maybe one other person on this iste that owns one, FYI the ten free GBA games were released this past Friday.
As a reminder the games are:
1) Zelda: Minish Cap
2) F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
3) Wario Land 4 (I didn't even know there were three others?!?)
4) Mario Kart: Super Circuit
5) Yoshi's Island
6) Warioware Inc.
7) Metroid Fusion
8) Kirby and the Amazing Mirror
9) Mario vs Donkey Kong
10) Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
Does anyone want to guess which one of those games I played for twenty minutes and will never play again?
Also, as another reminder, Zelda: Four Swords Adventures is still free and only up on the store until I think 02/28/12.
So between, the 10 NES games, 10 GBA games, Four Swords and possibly Excitebike 3D if you were a "legit" early adopter, that's a pretty decent haul.
Plus if you take the time ti sign up for Club Nintendo you can get more games. Basically, for the uninformed, when you buy certain games, mostly first party Nintendo titles, there is a code inside the box. You open an account on Club Nintendo and "register" your games by entering the codes. You can also register your hardware (Wii, Gamecube, DS, 3DS, etc.) Once registered you get coins and get bonus coins if you then take these simple surveys regarding the game. The coins ranged from 10 to 100+ I believe. You use to be able to just redeem the coins for swag and merchandise like posters, book ends, buttons, etc. But now they have opened it up and you can redeem the coins for downloads on the Nintendo e-shop. There are only certain titles that you can redeem the coins for but they are solid.
For example, the games available are:
-Super Mario Kart (Wii, 100 coins)
-Fluidity (150 coins) *Wiiware downloadable game
-3D Classics: Xevious (3DS, 100 coins)
-Mario vs DK: Minis March Again (3DS, 150 coins)
The cool thing is that you can get 10 coins for completing the surveys for each of the FREE ambassador games. So if you complete the surveys for the ten NES games, that's another free game if you want Super Mario Kart on Wii or Xevious. Plus you'll get another 100 coins for doing the surveys for the free GBA games.
Not too shabby.
