What's the 'stockpile' game mode? I played it once but when I get a flag into the scoring zone nothing happened....I had no clue what I what to do so I just started killing people haha.

Exactly what I was thinking. I've gotten plenty of sick sniper kills just like those guys but the DMR kills are impressive as all hell to me. My accuracy blows in Halo.

I'm the exact opposite, I am terrible at sniping but I'm great at headshots with the DMR, especially in SWAT, just a lot easier for me for some reason.

You have X amount of time to get the flags into your area and keep them there until the timer expires. After the timer expires, points are awarded and the flags are reset.

It's absolutely not similar to Hardcore at all. It takes a thousand body shots to kill someone, and one headshot? There's no camping, it's much faster paced. With Hardcore it's always a bunch of fags sitting in a corner waiting to gut shot you.

Actually, theres a ton of camping in SWAT. BTB SWAT is the worst. Spawn camping is a guarantee on maps like Board Walk and Paradiso. And faster paced? Have you gone back to MW2 since playing Reach?

If Reach and MW2 had a game speed slider like Madden or NCAA, Halo would be 'very slow', and MW2 would be 'very fast'. They're polar opposites in game pace.

Halo SWAT is 10x faster than MW2 Hardcore. Games last 2-5 minutes. Hardcore almost never reaches 7500 in MW2.

Board Walk and Paradiso (oustide of sniping) suck, just like half of the maps in MW2.

I know what you're saying, but HC DM is the slowest gametype I've ever seen in an FPS. People literally sit in one spot hoping someone will get bored and run into their camp location.

picked this up today and im glad i did. having only played the halo 3 MP beta, this game is totally fresh to me. that MLG top 10 video pushed me over the edge. Stunning graphics and fluid gameplay were enough for me to finally give this game a real try.

the only reluctance i have is the unloading a clip to get a kill thing. I just gotta remember to aim for the head. played a little SP and MP tonight and it was alot of fun

Yes but the style of play between the two are vastly different. Even though most game modes in MW2 are much faster paced than H:R, SWAT is faster than any game type on the two titles, while TDM:HC is muuuuuuccccchhhh slower than any game type on the two titles. I've played enough MW2 to know that every hardcore deathmatch will end somewhere around 4200-3400 by the time limit based on people not wanting to leave their UBERPWNAGE camping spots.
