Does anyone buy this game if they have a PS3?

Their demos have been historically bad and the actual game always seems a bit better.

You're out of your mind if you have a PS3 and buy MLB 2k10. Even if it improves tremendously, it's still light years away from The Show.

Why do they even put it out on PS3? Last year even when baseball season was still going I saw 2K9 selling new for $19.99.

playing the demo now. 3 innings, phillies at yankees
innings 1-3 (well i cant confirm its only 3 cause i am in the top of the 3rd so far)

there is no commentary and no options to choose from. I have no idea what level this is. the guess pitch is coming up so i assume an easier level.

i am really enjoying this demo. The pitching is excellent and i am in love with this pitching scheme. the catcher calls the pitches with his signs, or you can call your own if you wish. I am seeing called strikes, swinging strikes and i have walked 2 so far. I have given up 5 hits and 1 run. The hits have been a varety but no extra base hits so far.

i still have to get used to the fielding, but its nothing new, just getting a feel. But the players are very responsive. I love the throwing meter. Its just like past 2k games where throwing to hard matters. This meter is better than the shows because you actually control the strength of the throws vs the really quick meter the show uses.

hitting sucks in this demo only cause they force u to use the RS to swing. I am kind of fucking around trying to figure out check swings and any controls they may have turned on for hitting in this demo. i was not a fan of the RS swinging in the show and i dont like it here either. I wont say it doesnt work or doesnt feel right because i need to screw around more. The camera angle is that farther back angle we saw in the video. I like the view, but it will take some getting used to. I have been able to make contact but i dont have any hits and i am screwing around with hitting.

my initial feeling is that if i didnt have the ps3 that i would buy this game based on the amount of time i played this demo...which is only 3 innings.

limited presentation is good in this demo. graphics are good...i am not a graphics whore and these are not as good as the show, but still very very good imo. there are no framerate issues or issues during fielding or any of that past stuff we saw in previous versions.

i havnt played 2k baseball in 2 years ( not since 2k7) but i have played demos and did have 2k8 for about a week before getting a ps3. But i am pretty impressed by the demo.

ok my bad. There are some control options. hit start then use the RS to bring up the menu options.
you can switch from classic and total control hitting and pitching...NICE
you can also turn off batters eye and switch the pitchers aim

phillies are using bastardo in game 2 (they used blanton in game 1)

i picked off jimmy rollins then struck out the victorino looking

Check Swing got into the demo? I thought it was going to be patched in, possibly Day 1.

i was trying to figure out check swing. its not there from what i can tell.
also, just saw a horrible fielding animation. base hit to center. I have the CF throw it back in to 2nd and he does the crow hop and looks like he is gunning it to 1st. But just as he released it it goes to 2nd. Looked great if he threw it to 1st, but it it went to 2nd and made it look horrible

and how u gonna have a guy 0-1 with a K get player of the game when u have a guy with a HR and another with a double and a rbi

it goes without saying that this game will not be without flaws

this has to be on rookie level. just feels too easy. haladay vs CC was a 0-0 tie. But the cpu is taking way to many called strikes. they never took called strikes before but now take to many....

if the 2k demo comes to ps3 tomorrow, then should the show be tomorrow too
