Carolina played a good game, just couldn't make the kick at the end. We lost today but at least it was competitive, I'd rather lose to Jake Delhomme than any other QB in the league.

Call me crazy, but I think Atlanta is pretty overrated. I think GB has a more-than-legitimate chance of going into that dome and winning convincingly. Come Sunday, the Falcons and the WORLD will know what ZomboMANIA is all about!

You're not crazy. They are overrated. Albeit it is hard to win in the dome, they are a very beatable team. Outside of the Matt Ryan - Roddy White connection there isn't a dominant match up that can't be beat.

Did I say Atlanta was going to lose? No, in fact I said they were very tough to beat in their home stadium. I still stand by my statement and think they are overrated.

Good teams find a way to win the close games, and that's what Atlanta has been doing. I still think they are very beatable away from the dome and until they do that I will stay think that. I don't think they could go into Lambeau or Philly or New York and beat any 3 of those NFC teams in their place. Albeit they have been playing their schedule and getting the job done. No excuses and if they keep it up they won't have to go anywhere, they will play at home during the playoffs which is huge for Atlanta.

Supposed to be a better team? No, Atlanta was picked by most "experts" to win. They are the #1 team in the NFC in a lot of power rankings. They were the favorite. It was supposed to a close game with Atlanta winning especially since they were at home.

I wanna see them go up North and play one of the other NFC Elites. Luckily for them they may not have too. I don't believe they could do it.

1. Knox had the ball in mid air and was touched/clothes lined across the chest. Thus when he goes to the ground it's down by contact.

2. Then they show a view of an Eagles player slapping Knox on the leg when he's on his back on the ground and the booth crew somehow still comes to the conclusion that he wasn't touched down.

Andy Reid being Andy Reid again. worst clock management of anyone still working in football. no concept of time and place. how the fuck do you kick the field goal there? you still need 2 touchdowns. whats the worst thing that happens? you miss the conversion, and then you save a few seconds on the punt return, but you have a chance to kick the bears in the teeth in their home stadium and seize momentum. if you score the touchdown with 4 minutes left, you can skip the onside kick and get it back with time to use.

as soon as i saw them line up for the field goal, i said to myself, game over...

Congrats to the Falcons on the win. Even though I'm a Packers fan, I picked them to lose today in the VSN pick 'em. The Falcons always play well at home and the Packers were going to have to play perfectly and the lost TD off of the Rodgers fumble into the endzone pretty much ended up costing them the game.

Believe we'll see these two teams go at it again in the playoffs.
