I tried getting it from Japan but they don't ship outside of the country..

Play-Asia is selling it for $500 +


So, I can wait 2 months, if I decide not to cancel the order.

Fifa did look pretty good. I'll definitely be picking up Uncharted day one. Might pick up Modnation Racers as well. Picking up MLB 12: The Show when it releases like a week or 2 after the Vita. Then there's a few other games I'd like that probably wont be launch games, like the new Resistance and Ruin.

The Show is a given. I really hope its the exact same experience as the PS3. I assume it would have to be since you can play your saved game on either one.

Ruin looks awesome. If you only have to buy one copy and get to play it on both Vita and PS3 I am 100% in. I know that the new MotorStorm game is going t o be like that. It's only a downloadable title but only having to pay once and being able to pick up and play where you left off from both consoles will be awesome.

I didn't remember a Resistance game being announced? That should be cool. I'm actually really looking forward to playing Retribution on the Vita with the updated controls. I really liked that game but got stuck on a boss fight because of the crappy controls and gave up.

Yup. Resistance: Burning Skies, but there's no set release date yet. There was some demo gameplay at Gamescom. I think it's a side story with a different character in the Resistance arena if I remember right. And Retribution was one of the PSP games I downloaded for the welcome back program, so I'm pumped to play that as well.

According to developer Sony Bend, Uncharted: Golden Abyss will last approximately 10+ hours, which is just a bit longer than the 8-9 hour campaign of Uncharted 3. Players can expect to see roughly two hours of cutscenes in the game, as well.

In its first two days on sale in Japan, the PlayStation Vita has managed to sell 312,407 units, beating the PSP's opening numbers but falling short of Nintendo's 3DS launch sales.

Japanese games magazine, Famitsu, revealed the sales for Saturday December 17 and Sunday December 18, citing data collected by Enterbrain.

In comparison, Nintendo 3DS sold 371,326 units over its opening two days, Famitsu notes, but the PSP managed less than half Vita's numbers.

It's been reported that Sony shipped 700,000 units to cover the launch of its new handheld, 500,000 of which were the 3G/Wi-fi model which Sony shipped as a limited edition which includes 100 hours of free 3G access.
