I wish I was Scrubs
I was thinking about doing a game night here and basing a league around it. Basically, everyone plays the same game on say a Tuesday night (or whatever works) and we make it into a league format so that we have a winner at the end of the "season".
I am thinking basically a 2 month rotation (possibly 1 month) so that is 6 games a year, which most people can afford to buy or gamefly. We all play and a basic point system is given per week. If someone doesn't want to play the game, that is fine, we'll drop the worst record at the end.
We'll try to do newer games so that people will still want to play them online and we'll change every couple months or if every agrees that a certain game sucks. We will have to do some multiplayer online games, so things like racing games, FPS, and sports games will probably be popular, but if something else comes up, we'll add it to the rotation.
So, any takers? If so, say what system you'd prefer to play on and what night/s work for you.
