Mike's not going to can his son, and I think the playcalling has been a little bit better this season. To be fair, the Eagles stuffed us late, but the Redskins have shown a killer instinct late in games this year more often than not, instead of just trying to get by.

I won't go so far as the article from the Post did a few weeks ago and say that Kyle's fixed his reputation and is likely back into head coaching consideration, but he's not done enough to be fired. This is coming from a guy who was all aboard that bandwagon leading up to the season as well.

I hope he does get a HC job somewhere so we can get an actual OC. I understand shannys not gonna fire his son but that's why you don't mix business with family. I would credit much of the offensive success this year to RG3 and Morris over Kyle. I'm sick of seeing run calls and play action on 3rd and long it happens every game and we lose 2-3 drives cause of retarded play calling every week

I mean, coaches are overrated in just about every sport, and there is plenty of evidence to support your claim.....we even won a game based off an RGIII run for a TD.

But the fact remains, he has two great players to work with, who can create their own opportunities. That allows you to call some plays and just see what happens. We could certainly have worse coordinators, and I actually want to see how the offense looks next season with a whole off-season devoted to enhancing what worked, taking out what didn't and adding new plays.

Kyle's playcalling in the Cleveland game with Kirk Cousins was excellent though. He's at his best when he runs a scaled back more conservative offense. When he tries to get creative it nds up disasterous

We've got to win either way. Even if both of those teams lose, I still want this team going into the game wanting to win the division. It would be huge for this team, and complete a turnaround that we've not seen very often in the NFL.

There are a couple things going against us. Mainly, Dallas is also fighting for their playoff lives and has to win to get in, and they always play us hard. Second, the Redskins have pulled off six straight wins, and much like the Forbath string of field goals, I just wonder when it's going to end. I hope it's not this week, but that's in the back of my mind right now and been in the back of my mind since the Browns game.

good luck Skins! I'd rather see the Redskins in the playoffs, for the simple fact they haven't been in awhile. But I suppose the same could be said for the cowboys.

no rookie should be expected to do well in the playoffs. But I expect Washington to win today !

Same. What makes it worse is that the Redskins are picked by many oddsmakers to win this, and a lot of the Dallas press is expected the Redskins to win as well. That doesn't bode well for me, I'd actually rather have this team as an underdog.

Another couple good points about today. Dallas is going to be playing a game that will be at freezing temp to start, and they historically perform poorly in sub-40 weather. This is also the game that could define Tony Romo as the QB of the Cowboys.....still don't know if that's a point for the Redskins or Cowboys yet.

One thing I can guarantee, is that there will be rampant idiocy on my Facebook tonight regardless.

Even double-teamed, Redskins have their work cut out for them, because in all likelihood DeAngelo Hall is going to be one of the players covering Bryant. Cowboys defense is banged up, so it's going to be another high-scoring game I'm afraid.

i have faith and i believe....

even Cowboy fans know they are in trouble.
they are hurting on defense; its gonna be cold; Murry's return means very little and it may be that simple to see that the Cowboys are done.....
