Notre Dame has played two teams below .500 all season (Boston College and Wake Forest - a 5-win team)...current SOS was rated higher than everyone in the top 10 other than UF, TAMU, and Stanford (ND beat Stanford). 17th in the country going into this week.

Notre Dame's schedule was strong. No breaks. No cupcakes.

Yes you did at home. I'm not saying you wouldn't beat them again, you probably would. That doesn't change the fact that its a conference title game and it would likely be a tough game. And obviously your most difficult game being a potential NC or BCS game which you also are not playing.
