My thinking is this order

RT (Colombo is shot)
S (both of ours suck and idk what to think of AOA)
DE/DT (Ratliff can't do it alone)
G (Davis is a massive underachiever and Kosier is a UFA)
ILB (Sean Lee starts next year, but Bradie James is slowing down some)

I don't think the Lions will go offensive line in the first round. We'll be going Corner if Prince or Peterson is there, and linebacker if they aren't. The team right now only has one guy who is a legitimate NFL linebacker in Levy right now.

Our offensive line isn't good, but I'd consider it average. I wouldn't have a problem picking up an o-line player in the first round, I just don't think we will.

We also need a lot of stuff on defense as much as we need an offensive line. I think it'll depend on who is there and we'll probably follow the best player available approach that Mayhew has been using.

I blame scheme, focus and injury before I knock the talent of Dallas' corners. They were fine against the pass when Wade was in charge but Pasqualoni's scheme was as vanilla as they come. Their INT totals went way up but it was far too easy to attack those loose zones.

Newman may not be a top CB anymore but his play in the last two months is an aberration. Playing on a bad leg and ribs will do that to you.

Jenkins is better than he's shown as well.

We have bigger issues in the secondary alone than the corners. At least another year before we go CB in 1 again.

IDK about Mike Pouncey. Don't get me wrong. I like Mike Pouncey a lot and would love to see him a Green Bay Packer, but I can't see Ted Thompson taking OL first round two years in a row. Also, C Scott Wells is having probably his best season.

I think it just proved that the Packers can't run the football. Grant is a decent back though, and I agree it's pointless for them to use their 1st on a RB, but I don't buy the logic that his value was increased by shitty playcalling/run blocking in his absence.

No way we take a receiver. We've got a minimum of three good targets on the field with CJ, Burleson and Pettigrew at any time. In the later rounds, sure take a guy, but not first round.

Watch him tonight... I think he will have a very good game... I don't think Harbaugh would want Newton, he wouldn't want Locker... so that would leave Gabbert and Mallet... I just feel like everybody is going to go crazy over that "Joe Flacco" prototypical NFL size with a huge arm...

And you could very well be right. It's just an opinion that all. Like I said, I dont care much for Mallet and I hope he does have a good game. Just not sure he's a WCO type of QB if we got Harbaugh and thats what he wants to run.

Trust me, there hasn't been any difference in the strength of the run blocking on the offensive line. They have been horrible for the past few years. If you've watched all the GB games, you'd know we have struggled badly on 3rd down compared to last year, especially in 3rd and short situations. Grant's not a guy that will scare anyone with the 70 yard run every few games, but he will get 4-5 yards consistently on every play. Severely underrated running back IMO and the numbers above show how much GB really needs him in the running game. We'll see how they fair in the playoffs without the needed offensive balance.

I'm almost sure Miami will draft Mark Ingram if he is still on the board when they pick. Ricky isn't coming back and I don't think Ronnie Brown is either.
