That's not what I said. I said name one team who has won a Superbowl with 1st round picks at both tackle spots. I never said that no team had ever done it. I wanted to know because I figured that there have been a lot more Superbowl winning teams that didn't have 2 1st round picks at tackle. You could only name 2 teams out of 20, so it looks like I was right.

I think generally the point is that you need a good OL to win a Super Bowl, regardless of where they are drafted. If you use some first rounders at the position, you'd have a better chance at having a good OL.

Good OL is Good OL regardless of where they were drafted.

That Cowboys line of the 90's was filled with first day picks (no first rounders though).

The point is that you can build good offensive lines without using first round picks to do it, which is why I was against the Chiefs drafting Monroe.

Oh well. Good shit either way. I think one year somebody should do like a live mock draft where you just pick the next selection instead of the entire draft at once. You're guaranteed to do a lot better since you'd avoid the domino effect.

oh def....I didnt truly think the Bills were going to take a tackle, they were obviously happy with what they had, I was kinda drunk and did not think logically when doing this but eh, I'm happy with the result I guess, and next year I'll def do a live mock

Yeah, silly me for 'reading into' what you said. My bad.

NOBODY does this. NOBODY takes tackles in back to back drafts in the first round. NOBODY moves a really good young LT to the right side. Good teams DEFINITELY don't do it. Do the Patriots have 1st round tackles? Nope. Steelers? Nope. Colts? Nope. You get the picture. Name one team who has won a Superbowl with 1st round picks at both tackle spots.

The point is that very few teams build their offensive lines with 1st round picks. Teams take LT's with 1st rounders and that's usually it. You never see a team with more than 2 first rounders on the OL.

The idea of the Chiefs drafting Eugene Monroe pissed me off. I should've let it go. Arguing about the construction of Superbowl winning teams' offensive lines wasn't the plan. I just went on a rant because I didn't think it was a good idea for the Chiefs to take a left tackle when they already had one.
