Fuck em
it's hard for me to believe that any rap album is top of the decade. it's got to a point now it's just crap. crap=rap. we just steal rock bands songs or reuse beats. lets rap about how the people that made us rich and talk about how much money we got. yea that's good alright.
you are a fucking retard, that is all
solid list, good to see some love for the Minnesota underground scene.
I'd suggest POS "Never Better", but a solid list nonetheless.
Love POS man.
I try to say I'm a huge underground fan, but shit like MF Doom/Immortal Technique/Celph Titled just doesn't do it for me. I need a mix of good beats and concept/conscious rap.
I think you left a couple good CD's off here, but I understand its your list and I don't want to spoil my top 30 thing. Completely shocked you left one cd off in particular.
I definately had a brain fart on some of them, Im sure when I see your list and go through some of my albums I'll find plenty of others and update it, possibly a top 50 if I see enough substance worth mentioning.
MF is absolutely an acquired taste. I wouldn't put him anywhere near a top list for me, but i think he's pretty alright. I cannot stand his flow at all, I think it's awful, but his beats are definitely something else.
Immortal Technique is good in small doses, but his albums tend to grate on you a little bit... he's hard to listen to through multiple songs.
Doom is acquired... he just reminds me of me and my friends ya know, his wacky loops and self made beats are at times proposterous, with his mellow lyrical flow that sometimes makes no sense. He sounds lazy and completely emotionless at times, and is drunk/hi 99% of his songs... He just seems to have that basement production sound that I kinda like. And immortal is almost like how the early Eminem albums hit me, you love the lyrical wordplay, but at times after too many listens I almost get queezy.
