Lewis barely played last year, and Biggers was very good for his first real PT. I mean, look at Talib. He's more of a ballhawk, he still gave up plays. He takes chances. Biggers can stick to guys more than Talib as early as this year. It doesn't matter how well Talib covers if he peels off early and makes a bad play on the ball. And I really doubt you're all that familiar with Biggers if you're crapping on him like that. And again, whats your thoughts on McKenzie if you're knocking a guy who played solid in his first year in plenty of reps last year??

i personally love the Giants drafting Trent Richardson. Jacobs and Bradshaw probably wont be back for the 2012 season, so if you arent gonna draft the Alabama Heisman running back, you might as well draft the guy who is said to be better than him.

Oh... I wasn't aware that having 3 outside rush LB's means that you don't need another ILB other than Sean Lee, and Spencer won't stick around too long unless he seriously starts contributing more consistently, I reserve the right to call you retarded.

Lee will play the Mike (SILB), Carter will play the Mo (WILB). Since all 4 LB's are considered 3 down players, it's going to be pretty damn hard for a rookie to see the field over them.

And that's all considering Bradie James doesn't come back.

I would throw something through my TV if they picked a LB in 1 next year. They will not, unless Spencer gets cut (highly unlikely-hasn't been a stud, but he's been a solid contributor, especially against the run) and in that case, they'll go for a hybrid guy as they've done in the past.

I don't know more about the team than you, but I see things from an outside no homerism allowed view point, carter would be better replacing Spencer outside, and you are still depending on him being 100% healthy and staying healthy. Upshaw is good and extremely versatile. It's not like I'm your GM or this mock means a thing at all, but right now, from my view point Spencer won't be there by draft time next year, Lee is not a flat out stud although he is a very solid player, and Carter is coming off a major injusry and is a question mark, where will he play when will he play and how well can he play.

I think Barkley is SO much different. Remember Leinart slid a bit because everybody knew his flaws, his noodle arm, all that stuff, a lot of "experts" ripped Leinart coming out, I think Barkley is a much much better prospect, because he has the tools needed for the NFL, Leinart didn't.

This has nothing to do with homerism. It has everything to do with common sense.

Carter is a finesse player that weighs about 235. Putting him on the outside in a 3-4 would be a fucking disaster. He would not be able to do the same things Spencer does. All people look at is sacks from these guys...Spencer doesn't get 15 sacks a year like Ware does (but point me to a pass rush due that does that) but in other facets of the game he's fine.

As far as Carter's injury, an ACL is nothing compared to what it used to be. He's still a nickel LB at best this year regardless as James and Brooking play out the last year of their deals.

Haven't seen too many 6'3" 225 pound 4.7 running safeties going in the first round...why are people putting Ray Ray in the first round? He's not even the best safety on his own team at this very moment. He's more like a 4th-5th round type of player.
