Wait so now we ARE just basing the lists off 1 season?

Because a minute ago you said we weren't. In 3 seasons Peterson has fumbled the ball 17 times.

His last playoff game he fumbled the ball away 2 times. Which (outside of a Brett Favre interception) could have easily put the Vikings in the super bowl if either hadn't happened.

That's how I'm basing my list off of. How are you? Because if your putting Ray Lewis that low you'd be basing your list on their career as a whole so Randy Moss and LT should be #1, #2 because Ray Lewis is not even a top 5 LB now.

Oh and btw,

Ray Lewis just came off a 139 tackle, 2 sack, 2int, 2 FF and 1 TD year. While leading the 10th best defense (5th rushing) to the playoffs.

While lets say Patrick Willis (for arguments sake) came off a 128 tackls, 6 sack, 2 FF year. While leading the 24th best defense (19th rushing) to a 6-10 record.

I thought you're basing it off of the last 3 years? Besides the Ravens defense is much better than the 49ers so the rankings don't mean squat.

Willis: 421 TKL 11 SCK 6 FF
Lewis: 389 TKL 8.5 SCK 6 FF

Also keep in mind that in all 3 of Willis' last years he has had over 100 solo tackles opposed to Ray Lewis who hadn't up until this year. Meaning Willis has to do a lot more on his team and basically runs sideline to sideline.

Ray Lewis even said that he is Willis is a worthy successor as the best linebacker in the game today.

It's going to be a moronic list, because we are all basing our lists off something different (IE: Just 2010, Entire Careers, etc...).

You should have or should make it clear what we should base our rankings off of. For crying out loud the title of the thread is All Time. Yet we are only suppose to use current players.

It's not hard to find a receiver that can do what Moss can do right now. I don't know why you think there are so few deep threats in the NFL today.

Because I put him on my list for what he has done in his career because I respect his stats. But I'm not putting him as a top 10 player like BMore did with Ray Lewis solely based on overall. As you can see a lot of my rank 35+ players are mainly older guys who were once dominant forces in the NFL.
