In Madden 04, whenever I'd start a franchise, I made it a point to pick up Rohan Davey from the free agency list and exploit training camp until I made him a passable starting QB.

Any 2k players know how ungodly Tyrus Thomas and Gerald Green were/are.

I played with the Bulls in NBA 2k9 and acquired Green. Dude was my 6th man and an absolute monster. He'd get blocks and steals all the time and we were a fast break team any time he was on the court.

Pretty much any defensive end with some speed is dominant for me too.

For some weird reason McCarty had always been rated reasonably well in 2K but fucking overrated as FUCK in NBA Live I remember one season he was a 78 or some shit and led my team in FG%, PPG, 3PT's and 3PTFG%

OF always played him as an oppo-field hitter, and almost every time I was up I would shoot a ball right down the RF line and get a triple. Ended up breaking the triples record with that bastard.

Orlando Scandrick for the Cowboys in Madden 09. He was like a last string DB but I used him in the Dime formation to blitz the QB with his 98 speed.

I also used him at the WR position.

Ken Griffey JR presents MLB- I did a 30 team fantasy draft, had Kirt Manwaring as my catcher for his 10 defense and arm. Dominated defense, and somehow had 20 homers with him. Also utilized Tim Belcher very well for his 9 rated stamina.

Also used Az Hakim to stretch the field and usually had him as my fourth receiver. Dude always got open on streaks. I also Devin Hester the same way.

Ashley Lelie back when there was training camp in Franchise mode and I could boost his hands.

I abused TC mode on Madden 06. I ran with the Broncos a lot, boosted Maurice Clarett's stats till he was one of the best backs in the league by year 4, Lelie and Darius Watts (?) on the receiving end and then I'd draft a QB in the first draft because I didn't care for Plummer.

Oh, and I remember I drafted Jared Zabransky in...Madden 07 I think it was, on PS2. Took him in the 6th round of my Titans franchise. He looked so fucking sick in a Titans uniform..idk why that was. But anyways, he had terrible ratings, but I kept him and made him a project of mine. He took us to multiple Super Bowls....loved using him.
