I don't know what the laws are in Texas but in Wisconsin it's illegal to even have your concealed carry weapon in the vehicle when you're near a school. I assume you're parking in a school parking lot.

In Texas, as long as my weapon remains in my car there is no problem with having it on school grounds.

If you are going to a live football game, you should expect people to be standing half the time, and for your vision to be at least partially obstructed during key parts of the action. This is why i'm not a big fan of live football, turned down a chance to go to two Rams SB's, and don't attend Rams games, period.

Unlike baseball or basketball, if you really want to pay attention to a football game, the best place is on your couch. Live games are more about atmosphere, and i'm shocked that 'standing' rules exist.

This is very true, but it's sad because the view of football on TV is so bad. You only get a fraction of the play.

End zone seats at a game are great, you can see the holes open up and really watch the play unfold. Unfortunately though, like you said, going to an NFL game is a terrible experience.
