I couldn't give a fuck about Tebow, to be honest. I don't think he's going to be successful in the NFL. However, I think it's retarded that a Tennessee fan went out of his way to make this thread and say the game "humbled" him. Tebow's not a bad guy and there's no reason to hate on him.

I didn't say I agreed with what the guy said. But a lot of these analysts actually get to vote for the Heisman winner, so unluckily their beliefs do get considered.

The difference, though, is that Matt Leinart wasn't being labeled as "one of the greatest football players of all time," "one of the greatest leaders of all time," or "one of the greatest winners of all time."

Tebow's played QB for the most talented team in the country the last few years. Matt Leinart has literally done everything that Tebow has done (2 national championships, 1 heisman) and the media sucked Leinart's dick quite a bit but even he didn't receive the deep throat treatment that Tebow has.

The funny thing is, I posted this when there was still 8 minutes left in the game. So Tebow hadn't actually started crying yet. I put that in the poll because this guy is such a media hog, he knew that would give him more attention. They would show Tebow when they were talking about Ingram or McElroy.

Generally when you're on top of a sustained period of time people will tend to hate on you....its human nature. I've never understood the rationale behind hating on Tebow because of the media, because its not as if Tebow is this hype machine that has never lived up to expectations. If anything Tebow by his play set the expectations and this is what people say they wish would happen with all athletes.
