Reds have the best bullpen in baseball, and Coco Cordero has been very, very good. Not a sigle one of you fools has mentioned him. Weathers-Rhodes-Cordero has been lethal.

I didn't mention pitchers because I was only posting my ballot. Cordero has had a great year however I think best bullpen honors would go to Los Angeles.

1 I'll take the 50 pts of average, you can keep the 2 HRs and 13 RBI (in 70 more at bats). You also neglected to mention McCann's OPS is .906, which is the best in the majors for an everyday catcher, compared to Bengie's .696, which isn't even best in his own family. So yeah, 300 points in OPS outweighs any argument you could possibly have.

2 And I am saying Haren is having a better year than Cain.

2. again, i never said anything about haren or who the nl starter was, i know that harens having a better year than cain, i was saying he was having a better year than santana, thus more deserving of an all star nomination than santana

reds bullpen - 3.27 era through 219 innings, 44 holds, 95% save percentage, 1.40 whip

dodgers bullpen - 3.20 in 221.2 innings, 38 holds, 90% save percentage, 1.17 whip

thats pretty close, id give them a tie

I know he wouldn't likely get in, but I think Miguel Olivo deserves some consideration for a bench spot on the AL roster. His AVG and OPS will hurt him, but is hitting .262 and has the second-best slugging % (.527) for AL starting catchers behind only Mauer. He also has the second-most HR in the majors for catchers (12), again behind only Mauer.

Sorry but that's incorrect. Victor Martinez and Joe Mauer both have 14 home runs this season. Plus your right his AVG and OBP are terrible. He isn't doing too bad in the power department but isn't looking much like an all-star.
