RIP West
So I picked up the game yesterday, ran through some stuff to see how the gameplay was, and started my Road to Glory. Taking a break from that for a little bit, I entered dynasty mode just to see how it played out. I decided to be my favorite school, Penn State and just sim through the season to see how everything played out.
Three letters. L. O. L.
(Note: Injuries were off so no star player got injured for an extended period of time.)
The most realistic thing that happened was Tim Tebow winning the Heisman. He finished ahead of Colt McCoy, Dez Bryant, Daryl Clark, and Jordan Jefferson.
The next most realistic thing that happened was that Penn State won the Big Ten title.
They went 11-1 and only lost to Michigan.
Big Ten favorite Ohio State went 6-6 and had to play in the New Orleans Bowl as an at-large. They barely got by North Texas.
USC (11-1) was ranked #2 in the BCS at the start of the Conference Championships, while Utah (11-1) was ranked #3. After the championship games ended, I was shown a notice saying that I would play USC in the Rose Bowl. What? Turns out, Utah - despite neither team having a game - jumped USC in the BCS standings. Who would they play? None other than the powerhouse known as the Pittsburgh Panthers, who went 12-0 in the regular season. BYU got an at-large bid into the Sugar Bowl at 10-2. Utah ended up beating Pitt, giving the college football landscape it's first mid-major champion.
Like I said, LOL. Post anything weird that has happened in your dynasties here.
