By the Bolts themselves? LOL. At least you're doing better than Florida.

Absolute joke that the NHL would end this article with, " the backbone for making hockey in Florida a lot more than just some crazy dream." Hockey in Florida is not a dream; it's actually a nightmare.

Bryzgalov thinks Russian players are going to start staying over in the KHL. I'm sure the Flyers hope he is one of those players after the seasons he has put up and the money they are paying him.

Only problem is, who plays goalie for the Flyers then? Leighton is a barely capable back up and they don't have anyone in the minors. Holmgren is really going to regret trading Bobrovsky if that happens.

Watched them, but never been to one. The problem is the cheap seats for the game are high up in Soldier Field. Nosebleed seats in Solider Field in Mid-February sound less than fun. Nosebleed=snotfrozen

The schedules are so intense just to look at. We open up @ BOS, VS PIT, VS BOS, @ PHI, VS TOR, VS PHI, VS PIT, @ TB in the first 14 days. Everyone else's schedule will be similarly abundant with back to back to back to back big games. People might think that a short season suits teams who are more skilled and prone to wear down over a full-season but I think it's actually the grinders like Boston, New York, St Louis, Nashville etc. who are better set up to survive the regular season.

People might think that a short season suits teams who are more skilled and prone to wear down over a full-season but I think it's actually the grinders like Boston, New York, St Louis, Nashville etc. who are better set up to survive the regular season.

Looking at that, I think it's the teams in the NEUS that will have an advantage. Sure, it's a lot of games, but at ton of those are pretty easy to get to. The Oilers have to travel to Phoenix, San Jose, Colorado, Detroit and Columbus in the same time frame

This short time frame for a training camp is also going to hurt any team that made coaching changes this off-season. The teams that have been together for some time are going to be at a big advantage heading into the season.
