so many people that own a PS3 dont use it to its full advantage.... this system has paid for itself 100 times already and thats not a exaggeration. Im buying a additional PS3 this Xmas for bedroom.

this "do-over" with the slim has been the best thing to happen to sony this gen. i really think they turned the corner with that. some great exclusives lined up for next year.

I would say the increase in quantity and quality of exclusives is doing more for it than the slim design, although that and the price drop is helping immensely as well. Before, there was no reason to spend the 300-400$ to get a PS3 if you had a 360 or Wii, since the list of exclusives was so small. Now they have a bunch of great ones from MGS4 to UC2 to Demon Souls Killzone to LBP, and so on.

i agree with the online but my 360 is quiet as my ps3 i had, the only time the 360 is a jet engine is if u dont install your game to the HD, but if you install it to HD ,the 360 is quiet also

I have the 20-gig hard drive.
Suffice to say, I only have one game installed.
I'd rather wait for a bigger hard drive than the 120 before I upgrade.

This is a joke right? I bet it has nothing to do with the fact that PS3 backwards compatibility fucking blows because Sony still needed to make revenue when the PS3 was in the shitter.

Generations end when the next system comes out, if a company wants to pigeonhole you into buying an old system instead of fixing the current one, that doesn't mean the PS2 is still relevant.

Or perhaps is a cheap system for kids with a great library, that is still relevant because of the consistent sales. I for one did not buy a PS3 to play PS2 games, I don't care about backwards compatibility.

And this gen isn't ending anytime soon. MS has invested a lot of time and energy into natal so they won't be making a new console anytime soon. You fags are gonna be playing Halo 4 with your arms flailing in the air.

Natal is, for all intents and purposes the next generation of XBOX. Even if it uses the same hardware, it's a completely different interface.
