PS3 NCAA 10 Named Rosters Project

So I am venturing into the roster naming business. (I will only be naming rosters, no editing) But I could use a few people to help me out, ideally four counting myself.

How I plan on doing this, is I will start, and just name as many teams as I can in one sitting (at least 3 conferences). Once I just can't do any more, I will pass it on to one of the three assisting me, who will do at least an entire conference, hopefully more, (again, 3 is ideal) Then it will come back to me, and I will do what I did before. After, it will go to someone else, and repeat this until its done.

I only want people that can fully dedicate themselves to this, as that's what I will be doing. And I will choose people that are more active here.

I'll consider I appreciate the thought, but I don't want to get alot of people doing a few teams, cause that will just make it messy and probably take longer. That's why I was hoping for a few very dedicated people. But maybe you could be the exception cause you responded first lol

im not sure how we're gonna do this cuz the rosters on NCAA 10 dont have the right numbers for the players or anything

I call Pac-10. Or if someone else wants to team up with the Pac I don't care, I just call Oregon.

Are we going for default online rosters or can we make it a little more improved than that? I'm sure we aren't the only ones doing rosters for PS3 so I don't think we should aim for online rosters.

In fact Countryboy at OS is naming the default roster, so I'm thinking we should actually put decent work into this

Well, I wasn't gonna do the rosters that are on the disc cause those are bad, so I don't really see a point to naming those, but do the ones that EA puts in the locker....

The problem is, I don't actually know college football that well lol, so I wouldn't be a prime candidate for really fixing the rosters.

I just felt like naming the rosters myself (I knew other people would be as well) just to not have to count on someone else. I dunno...

Yeah brother, i will give you a hand for sure, i think maybe breaking up the SEC and the bigger confrences up (SEC east, SEC west) up to you tho man, i will do the SEC if you want, i may struggle to get the game as early tho as im in Australia.

So if you still want me to help let me know man.

You can just inform me when you get the game, and we'll see whats left to be done from there, and figure it out.

i would help but the only problem is that site is a little outdated. i think those are the 2007 rosters. Hawai'i still has Colt Brennan as a JR, and USC has Mark Sanchez as a SO

He's updating them this year, he's done the ACC, Big 12, Big East, and Big Ten so far. I found it at NCAA strategies.

I mean I kind of just wanted to try to do them as fast as possible. I think we do what Houtz said, and just do names first, and then after we can perfect them.

And how will we go about passing it? I guess we could always use the Locker Room. I say once we get the names done and everyone is happy maybe we could perfect it.

I thought we would just pass it through the Locker.

I think most people just want a roster where #15 is Tim Tebow and so fourth. I don't think they care if he is missing an arm band or he's not from the same hometown.

If we feel the need to go back and perfect it so be it. Otherwise, just giving the player's their proper names should be more then fine.

How long do you exspect this to take naming the rosters??

I honestly don't know. This will be the first time I do this. I'll be giving updates on my/our progress as I/we go though. But it will literally be as fast as possible.
