This kicking meter is fucking ridiculous. SHit is harder to kick now that it was before IMO

I laughed out loud for a good 5 minutes the first time I seen the kicking meter in motion. They can't figure out how to make the lag go away, so they take the lazy way out and make the speed of the meter set like it was on Rookie level.

According to info at the PP site:

(Update) The slowed down kick meter was not supposed to happen in this patch and it is being corrected overnight [last night] with a server-side update. Improvement in the meter responsiveness online should be noticeable (hopefully) with the meter moving at the correct speed.

Speaking of Ian,

1.apparently Ian Cummings has a "nice, close" relationship with the community via twitter, facebook and forums where he can immediately hear feedback and react in a "quick and nimble manner"

2.totally dodged a question about using features that are popular in NCAA 11 in Madden in the future.

3.He wants the default pick up and play experience to be more accessible and the "slow" game speed helps with that. (which is fine) but he believes the online audience is a naturally more hardcore audience (maybe true to a point) but if thats the case, thanks for the customization options: sliders, quarter length etc. that hardcore players would naturally want to use online.

4.stated, he wants to make sure they "innovate" every year instead of just fixing bugs from previous games. (wonder if he knows what innovate means?) maybe it means finally after 20 years giving us a close to accurate actual running game? I guess that could be innovation.

5. completely dodged another question about the possibility of making madden a "two year title." He stated he enjoys the challenge of making a yearly title, but does he know how we enjoy his challenge of making a yearly title? For a guy that gives such political answers maybe he should look at the polls and see just how we think hes meeting those challenges.

6. Flat out stated the hope for the default skill level was to make games more high scoring. Also stated he didnt want the better defenses to be ineffective on All pro or higher, theres one of the challenges he obviously failed to meet.

He's very good at that!

Ian Cummings is an employee, not an exec.

My guess is he doesn't agree with many of his company's decisions, but he also doesn't want to lose his job.

I actually understand his dilemma. My company has made a ton of changes and, officially, they're the greatest changes ever.

Ian can't go off on his company, ever. He's the director of the second worst next-gen sports game on consoles. If he gets fired, where does he go?

3rd worse - Madden

Wont put it up there with the worst but there is so much shit you would expect to be fixed after years and year of the same shit. There has not been one Next gen madden with some huge, huge glitch in it that has to be patched and when it is patched (if it is patched) something else is broke or the shit simply isnt fixed. You can throw fight night on that list in its place.

I hated everyone of his responses. Especially the one about "slow" speed, (Why Did they change it from normal again??) and the weak ass defense. Admit in Ian, NCAA is better than Madden and you know it..
