Considering i know about 60 360 gamers on VSN for a start , and thats just me

GGML had a majors , minors and a wait list half way through Madden 09 last year.

to me it shows that the hardcore madden/ncaa guys are on PS3. They are the ones checking those sections everyday and voting in the polls, have fun playing with casual gamers

Some people only came to the site for leagues so they dont check other parts of the forum.

GGML had 95% and upwards all the way until Febuary this year then it got slower but is still going (struggling now obv) .... sounds dedicated to me

Another trade I was offered..

20GB 360 (unregistered, so who cares when it was made), gta4, gears of war 2, wanted weapons of fate, pgr3, halo 3, midnight club la, 2 controllers with rechargeable batteries, and a headset

for

80GB PS3, Killzone 2, Controller, BD Remote, Shooter and Black Hawk Down.

I talked to my friend at walmart today and he said the 2 sealed games they will take back. I looked at the prices and saw that I would get 75 for both games (not bad). So I would have Pure, APF, Xbox 360 Elite and 75. Plus I would sell all 4 BD for at least 70 more. So I'd have an extra 140ish to spend on a couple games and I would have the elite.

For this guys trade I would get 4 pretty good games to either trade or play. Then the console with 20gb HD and 2 controllers/headset. I'd be able to sell MLB/Band of Brothers for a pretty good amount so probably like 80.

If I did it like that then the Elite package LOOKS better extra money wise.
Obviously the other one looks better minus the extra money. So I am not sure what I'm doing just yet.

IMO dont skip on a better system to get more games. Option B has a much better system and 120gb harddrive. that would be too much to pass up for me.

I was under the impression that they dont accept 360s that are 3years old if they get the red rings.

I mean i know quite a few people who have never got it but i wouldnt want to take a risk

It's a tough call Rylo, but because the Elite is a better system, I'd go with that. And the fact that you can return two of those games for $75 makes it a deal-breaker IMO. You could just about pick up Gears 2 and Halo 3 for that much.

Yeah. I think I'll end up doing that most likely.

Even though I hate the 360, I would get the Elite if I were you. Whatever extra precautions it takes to extend the life expectancy. Everyone seems to think the Elites are the most reliable.

PS3 online is the biggest fucking joke as far as playing with friends and communicating. Not to mention I don't use a router, I go direct connect to my modem, now all of a sudden I get a DNS error on my PS3. I plug it in my 360, works fine, and PC just fine. PS3 wants to be a fucking computer so badly.

I definitely agree with that last statement.
