I don't know if any of us have KZ3 yet. I don't think any of us will be getting Bulletstorm for less than $30.

You guys as a group should be playing the newest shit to report on. How many different ways can you say COD sucks cock? Me personally as a listener like what you guys are doing with the podcast and have yet to miss an episode. Just think it would be great if you guys could decide as a group who is reviewing what for the week as far as new releases go. I guess that leaves Al Golden out since it seems he doesn't play games that often.

Boucher is never playing anything. But he "wants to work in radio" so we deal with it.

Since we aren't getting paid to do this, I'm not going to go buy games I don't want just so two people can know if it's good or not. Just assume if it's not worth me buying it (or it's on PS3), don't get it.

I wanted to get Homefront Day 1, but I'm too unsure about it's quality to spend the money.

Sorry I broke your heart that this isn't priority #1 in life for ANY of us that do it. We love games and it's fun to get together and talk about them within our little community.

If that doesn't satisfy your craving, go to IGN, GamesRadar, GameTrailers, Giant Bomb or a million other places where they're PAID to do it.

That's not at all what I'm trying to do. I'm just letting him know what my deal is. The podcast is mostly "bullshit" and I don't forsee that changing.

I am genuinely sorry that I can't and won't go out and buy every game to tell him how good it is. But this isn't a job, it's a hobby. An already expensive one.

No at all taking it personal. Just letting you know what the balance in my checking account looks like.

Someone else will have KZ3 eventually. But we have a short week because people can't record on Thursday, so I don't know if anyone else has played it. And I played the Bulletstorm demo and didn't like what I saw, so of course I won't go blow sixty smackers on it. If there had been anything that gripped me about it, it would maybe be a different story.

EDIT: If this ridiculous quibble is what gets you to stop listening, all I can say is I don't know what else you expected from a VSN Production. You have heard Rush's Podcast, right? We're at least a million times better than that.

As a group I thought (and I guess I'm going out on a limb here) you guys could decide amongst yourselves who would cover what for the week on new releases (always the way of renting). Just thought gamers gamed any way they could. I know I do.

I won't beg anybody to "come back" (do we have any listeners?) but Brnt's opinions are his own and should be treated as such.

However, I will agree that we are doing this for free until such time that a big money game company gives us free games and pays us to give them good reviews... :shifty:

As a third/fourth/fifth-party gaming podcast, most of our info comes straight from other sites we peruse (the same as you guys who are into the same hobby as we are) but we add our own opinions on subjects we choose to talk about.

I personally am trying to put more emphasis on a wider range of systems and their games (I'll admit that the shit I've come up with is PS3-centric unless a game is multi-platform) at this point so the listener may enjoy it more.

Other than that, we can play the demos that come out, buy the games that we might like as a consumer (Boucher with sports games, Twigg with more mainstream, me with RPGs, etc.) and rent anything else if we have enough after bills...

Ideally, that's what we would be doing. But with finishing up my final semester of college and a lack of funds, it's just a dream for me.

Most of my intentions for doing this revolve around cracking jokes (I do want to work in comedy after all). I'll get serious and talk about games, but most of this is just to have some fun.

If we ever did a Studio podcast, I could definitely give you better insight there. But I don't pirate games like I do movies, music, and film.
